Not Organic - Includes Chemicals
Reviewed in the United States on April 10, 2020
I was very excited to try this moisturizer based on the reviews and claims of natural ingredients. It's from Maryann ORGANICS after all. Well, that name is a bit misleading.... Per the product description on Amazon, there are only 5 ingredients: hyaluronic-acid, citric acid, collagen, vitamin c and aloe vera.
On the product label itself, there are 18 ingredients including some chemicals. There's a little tiny icon that says 'Organic Product.' But only 1 of the 18 listed ingredients is certified organic. There's a discrepency here.
Now I am not a chemist, but I only purchased this because I thought the ingredients were going to be simple and clean. And maybe this is a really great product as some of you are saying, but I would prefer to avoid Methacrylate, Imidazolidinyl urea and Phenoxyethenol if I can.
So I can't tell you if this product works or not. I'm returning it unopened. I just have to continue my search for a truly natural anti-aging moisturizer at an affordable price.
