Or the freak show that came through all the way back in 1934?
Want to know why we never cross that bridge at night?
Do you know why we don’t talk about that famous artist or his crazy daughter?
What about the legendary serpent with an appetite for human flesh?
Or the portal in the forest that leads to another world?
Have you heard why every single house on Lincoln Way has been vacant for fifty years?
What about the man-eating beast that prowls the North American wilderness?
Or about the spider-limbed monstrosity that sings while it hunts you down?
An unspeakable entity known only as the Widow…
A water demon with a beautiful face and an insatiable appetite…
A murderous nurse with powers that transcend death…
An unassuming shopkeeper with a gruesome secret…
An ancient horror that holds a small town in thrall…
A forgotten phantom with a thousand faces…
These are just a few of THE MONSTERS WE FORGOT.
Comprising the first three volumes of the bestselling MONSTERS horror anthology series, THE MONSTERS WE FORGOT trilogy is a chilling collection of over 100 folklore-inspired horror stories by an international team of authors ranging from award-winners and bestsellers to visionary newcomers.
