I loved this series. The characters were so good that it seemed they were really a married couple. Unfortunately, I am hard of hearing and there wasn't subtitles. After I watched the complete series, I gave it to my sister.

Another ruined show
Wow! Original show Great. Revamped Show? Horrible.
The original show wasn't really political.. New show they had to bring in left wing
woke social justice Bull S$#@.
And of course we now have swear words on the show.
The daughter is absolutely awful
The writers clearly didn't understand what made the original. Show funny.
Oh yeah that's another thing. the show isn't funny at all.
I'd rather watch Saved By the. bell or a Speech from Joe Biden . that should tell you something.

I purchased the mad about you season 1 from Amazon.com LLC April 17th 2020 :, I'm don't understand WHY the product details said the Running time was 166 hours and 39 minutes , and when I received the Mad About You DVD on the back it said Running time was only 8 hours and 3 minutes that's A BIG difference in the RUNNING TIME FROM THE PRODUCT DETAILS. why does the back of the DVD say Running time is only 8 hours instead of the 166 hours and 39 minutes In the Product details.

Love this show

Love this show .. a timeless story of a young couple navigating the adjustments and perils of their new marriage, and all that entails. Mad About You is one of the great shows of the 90s.

The dvd picture is pretty good, not HD quality, but, given these shows aired 20 years ago, HD is not expected. The audio is really low, so I have to turn my tv way up. But, that's no big deal.

All in all, I'm a happy buyer.

Wow, I miss this show

This was proably one of my favorite shows, and I've missed it since it went off the air. Thankfully, they decided to release them on DVD.
I disagree with some other reviewers that they are disappointed to not have any special features. Honestly, how often - if at all - do you look at the special features on your other DVDs? I say just give me the show and keep the cost down. I don't need the fancy packaging or the behind-the-scenes when the price is this reasonable. Honestly, I probably would not have purchased this at a higher price, and I'm so glad I did. I started watching this show in the early years of my engagement and marriage. It was the ideal to me - I've had fun looking back and realizing both how naive I was, and how much of the show I appreciate more now.
Don't be expecting anything but the 22 episodes from the first season, and you won't be disappointed. Otherwise, it's as good as you remember.

Mad about the Buchman's
Verified purchase
This is a great disc! I don't agree with other reviews that say this is not the Mad About You of later years. There are some different characters. But this is still Paul and Jamie learning what it means to share your life with another. And it seems to me that this disc, and the ones to follow, could be used to instruct newly married people how to do a relationship the right way. And long married people where they may be going wrong.
And best of all, it's very funny, and entertaining.
To my way of thinking, this is one of the best shows ever aired on television.

I love this DVD and It doesn't have RCE!

I have received the discs at home (Peru) and we loved them. They don't have the RCE (Regional Coding Enhancement) so I can see them in a region-free dvd player.
I think the first seasons are much better than the last ones. However I think it gets better in the 2nd season. The last 3 seasons barely have episodes about couple relationship but they are still good seasons to buy in DVDs. I hope the complete 7 seasons will be released.

My favorite show

Still makes me laugh after all these years. This show gives everyone a glimpse into the world of marriage and shows that it isn’t all wonderful, it can be hard and even saddening but they show us that together they can overcome anything. It is a laugh from start to finish every time.
