Great Happy Enjoyable Movie . . .

As a martial artist who has spent countless hours watching all sorts of kung fu and karate movies, I found myself watching Made in Chinatown with a smile on my face the entire time.

This movie is a parody style movie which I believe caused some viewers to leave negative reviews.
However, I found this spoof movie quite enjoyable and clever in the unfolding of the story.

I would watch any sequel or similar style movie from Mark Wiley - who is the Writer and Executive Producer of the movie Made In Chinatown.

Big Trouble in Little China level fun!

Action packed with a terrific cast. It was great seeing veteran actors from The Sopranos in this film. The appearance of The 100's Raymond Barry was also a nice surprise. The Chinatown versions of Cheech and Chong were hilarious, as is the premise (the Mafia getting out of drugs and into the marketing of herbs and spices) and much of the dialogue. I would absolutely watch this again.

Fun movie with layered insights!

Who would expect a mob film or kung-fu film to be funny and witty and address current issues of isolation, fitting in, human nature and love? Well, the writer and directors of Made in Chinatown! Stereotypes are turned on their side, dialogue is witty and hilarious, often nonsensical and fits right in with the mood. love story creates a mob war with Italian and Chinese organized crime and is shaken worse by a crime commissioner on the take. With great actors like Raymond Barry, Tony Darrow, Vincent Pastore, Theresa Moriarty and Jay Kwon, and the best kung-fu from Hong Kong... it's a magical film!

Cute romantic comedy and action movie into one

Great casting. The main guy is likable, and did a great job acting.
There were a mix of characters: some quirky, some scary, and some gorgeous(like his Chinese childhood friend, and the Italian mob girl) , and others comical.
The fight scenes were amazingly choreographed.
Cute romantic comedy and action movie into one.
A cool movie to watch with your date or if you are into martial arts.

Did you ever want to be part of another culture? Did you ever try? What about a Chinese American kid who wants to be a Made Man? Fugetaboutit! This is a fun send-up of both kung fu and mafia flicks. There's some great physical comedy in this production. Overall it's a feel good film with some nice twists on favorite themes, though I won't tell you what those are.

Great movie, the kind you can watch a few times just to get all the details and jokes. Action rom-comedy, martial arts, ex-Sopranos, a great combo. Main character, Vinny Chow, has a personal cultural issue and he loves the mob lifestyle - and, a girl is involved. Much fun, a feel good movie!!!

Wasn't sure what to expect from this movie, but was pleasantly surprised with what I watched. The cast was great, with many recognizable faces, and enough new actors to keep me looking forward to seeing how they perform. Will watch this again sooner than later, recommended for anyone into satires of mafia and Kung Fu movies!
