About Margery Bayne
Margery Bayne is a librarian by day and a writer by night. She enjoys the literary and the speculative, and is a published short story author and an aspiring novelist. In 2012, she graduated from Susquehanna University's Writers Institute with a BA in Creative Writing, winning the Gary and Elizabeth Fincke Outstanding Portfolio Prize on her way out against the rest of the seniors in her major. In 2017, she placed second in the Baltimore Science Fiction Society's Amateur Writing Contest. She has worked in public libraries since 2012 and is currently pursuing her Masters of Library and Information Science at the University of Maryland. She has had a number of short stories published in a variety of literary magazines, a full list of publications being available under the publication tab on this website. In her time not spent reading, writing, being a student, or being a librarian, she enjoys origami, running, and being an aunt.
