ACID RAIN: A mother and her daughter get trapped in a gas station with strangers as a storm suddenly moves in, unleashing rain that destroys everything it touches. But is there something worse waiting in the rain?
SAFE HAVEN: When the government, the Russian mob, and a drug cartel are after you, where do you go? There's a safe haven for the super-rich running from their troubles - a beautiful tropical island - but there's a heavy price to pay for safety.
HEALER: Meet a teenage boy who heals a woman at the brink of death after a car accident. When a man who witnesses the miracle abducts the boy to heal his sick wife, things go horribly wrong.
THE HAMMER MURDERS: Agent Ridley with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation is called to the horrific and baffling murder of a family at a remote farmhouse with only one survivor - the youngest son, an eight-year-old boy who may hold the key to finding the monster who killed his family.
First there were rumors of a plague that turned people into flesh-eating predators, into what the media had dubbed rippers. The economy collapsed, the government tried to restore order through martial law, but too many were infected, leaving only a small group of survivors.
Ray Daniels flees his home with his family, saving a blind woman along the way, a blind woman who others like Josh and Luke have seen in their dreams. Josh tries to find lifesaving medicines for his nephew, but he is detained at a FEMA camp where things aren't what they seem to be. Luke, a former enforcer for a crime family, tries to get out of town after the crime family comes after him. He travels south, joining forces with a woman who is nearly as deadly as he is.
Little by little, all of them get closer and closer to coming together, while trying to avoid the rippers and an organized gang of Dark Angels run by an evil overlord who calls himself the Dragon. But Ray has a plan, a safe haven to go to . . . if they can just make it there.
It starts when Stella, an archaeologist specializing in Anasazi culture, finds David, a young Navajo boy who stumbles onto their dig site in a remote corner of the Navajo Reservation. David's coat is smeared with blood and he's in shock from something he's seen, revealing nothing but his name. Soon Stella and the other archaeologists will discover that something is chasing David, an unimaginable ancient evil that will stop at nothing to get him.
After Stella escapes the dig site with David, driving north into Colorado, right into a blizzard, she's carjacked by a gang of criminals fleeing a botched bank robbery. All of them take refuge from the snowstorm in what they believe is an abandoned cabin. But after they find the owner's mutilated body stuffed into a freezer, they realize that something is out there in the blizzard waiting for them.
The Ancient Enemy wants things . . . you have to give it what it wants or bad things will happen. Very bad things.
Whether you like Easter or not, you’ll certainly have a different view of it after you read the stories contained within these pages.

It has been seven years since David sent the Ancient Enemy back to its world in the ghost town that was once the town of Hope's End. He lives at his aunt's house now, but he knows the Ancient Enemy is back - he can feel it. He sees a serial killer in his dreams, a killer possessed by the Ancient Enemy, a killer who will stop at nothing, a killer who is coming for him. With Joe Blackhorn now dead, the only person David can turn to for help is Begay, the former captain of the Navajo Tribal Police.
Cole and Stella have lived in Costa Rica for the last seven years. They wanted to believe the terror of the Ancient Enemy was really over . . . but there were always doubts. And when Stella sees a horrifying vision in the jungle, she's certain that the Ancient Enemy has returned.
Former FBI agent Palmer's nightmares have returned, and when he's called in as a consultant on the recent copycat murders - re-creations of the massacre at the archaeological dig site seven years ago - he knows that the ancient evil is back.
Together, they are drawn into one last stand against the Ancient Enemy . . . but this time the battle will be fought in the Ancient Enemy's world.
Danny doesn't want to go to North Carolina. He has grown closer to Cassie, and after they were attacked by a possessed man at an abandoned amusement park, he feels that he must protect her. But Paul tells Danny that the best protection he can give Cassie is to stay away from her.
After agreeing to go down to Trish and Roger's home, Danny can feel the demon hiding inside of Seth. Paul and Danny do their best to fight the demon, but there are other demons stalking Cassie back home . . . they will stop at nothing to destroy everything Danny loves and cares about.
As society begins to collapse on a Friday morning, Josh drives into the city to get some lifesaving medications for his nephew. When he tries to avoid the mass of panicked people and gridlocked traffic downtown, Josh is arrested, beaten, and taken to a FEMA camp miles outside the city. Josh and the others are supposed to be at the camp for their protection, but he soon realizes that the camp is not what it seems to be . . . terrible things may be happening there.
At night, while making his plans to escape, Josh dreams of a beautiful blind woman who calls to him, inviting him to head south to join her and the others she's with. But there's someone else in his dreams, a man in the shadows with eyes that shine in the darkness, an evil man who will try to stop Josh and the others from getting together. But Josh can't worry about people he sees in his dreams, people that he convinces himself aren't real, because even though the chances of his sister and nephew being alive and uninfected are dwindling, he has to try to get to them.
After surviving a tragic accident, seventeen-year-old Danny Lambert is sent to live with his father, Paul, who is an Investigator for the Church. At first Danny resists the calling to become an Investigator, but after the horrors he sees, he agrees to begin training with his father.
Danny and Paul are given their first assignment together, the haunting of a house in a remote corner of upstate New York. Inside this house Danny will discover a horrifying, mind-blowing secret that will not only change his life, but how he sees everything forever.
Nick Gorman, a billionaire movie producer, assembles a team of ghost hunters and scientists to investigate the Thornhill Manor on Devil's Island . . . the most haunted place in the world that no one's ever heard of. He's there to find proof of ghosts, evidence of an afterlife. But he's also there to uncover a secret hidden on the island that could change all of humanity.
The ghost hunting team is led by Shane Edwards, who lost his TV show in a scandal and now is a disgrace in the ghost hunting world; this is his last chance to redeem himself and revive his career. But as soon as he steps foot on Devil's Island, he realizes this is no ordinary haunted manor - this is a place where everyone will face horrors they never could have imagined, an island that brings their darkest fears to life.
As Nick gets closer to unearthing the secret on the island, Shane begins to wonder if any of them will survive their two-night stay on Devil's Island.
Kate Crawford's world was shattered when the Collapse came. One moment she was a university professor, and the next she was running for her life from rippers and a group of Dark Angels. She plans on traveling across the state, back to her home town in the mountains, a place she vowed never to return to. But before she can even get out of the city, she's trapped on the roof of a building with a possible madman as thousands of rippers overrun the streets below.
After escaping the city, Kate rescues a small girl, and then meets Max and Petra. The four of them stay together, deciding to travel to Kate's home town, a place she feels might be safe from both the rippers and the Dark Angels. But there are dangers waiting for them there, dangers they can't even imagine.
Ray and the others he's with work their way south, eventually crossing paths with Kate and the ones she's with. They band together to make one last stand against the Dragon and his Dark Angels, but Ray still has plans to find a place called Avalon, an underground bunker run by the CDC, a place he believes may have a cure for the Ripper Plague, or at least the answers he was promised.
Featuring stories by Richard Chizmar, Mark Lukens, Michael A. Arnzen, Eric J. Guignard, Veronica Smith, Lee McGeorge, James Matthew Byers & Kevin J. Kennedy
Even though Jo wanted Ray and his group to stay at her store and help defend it, Ray believes he must go to Avalon - he knows something important is waiting there . . . the answers to the plague.
After Ray, Mike, Emma, and Josh leave for Avalon, Jo's store is overrun with rippers, driving her and the others up to the roof, trapping them there.
The Dragon uses Petra as bait to lure Luke and Max to Hell Town where he has laid a trap for them. Luke, Max, and Petra collide with the Dragon and his army of Dark Angels. Will they win? Will good triumph over evil? Will Ray finally find the answers in Avalon he's been looking for, or will he find something he was never expecting?
