Real situations, real drama, and inspiration and encouragement to trust God for every day living

although this is not marked a Christian movie, it contains many lessons teachings, and ideas about faith in God, and i believe it will reach many NON believers, and plant many seeds in their lives, filled with drama, suspense, love mercy, grace, forgiveness, and many fruits of the spirit that the bible talks about. i would recommend this movie to all, its a great movie with a great outcome, and a great story line. the characters and situations in the movies are very believable to the world we live in today. from domestic abuse, prostitution, and gang violence issues that the world faces today.

it portrays a man, who keeps the faith and trusts God to provide his needs, and i think that everyone can relate to this and needs this inspiration in the every day living in the world we have today.

I liked the movie, it was worth watching, it was well done,
The quality of the filming, sets, acting, and dialogue was much higher than the average Christian movie

I would have liked it more if two things were different:

Why did everyone turn against the pastor when he told them he was wrestling? He never said he wasn't going to wrestle, he was using his winnings on the church, and up until that moment his wife fully supported his wrestling.

Second, he should have preached Jesus, that if you accept His free gift of salvation through dying on the cross, you can be forgiven of your sins.

But all in all, an enjoyable movie that I would recommend

Wonderful story and Brett Granstaff should be nurtured as a good actor.

The Masked Saint follows the life of Chris Samuels and his wife Michelle. After retiring from the professional wrestling ring and settling down as a small town pastor, Samuels witnesses crime and problems in the community. The Pastor decides to moonlight as a masked vigilante fighting crime. While I am happy that crime fighting bit was relatively underdone, it was interesting that He stood up to the Bully that felt he controlled the church because he contributed heavily to its upkeep. The cast was okay but I felt the standout had to go to Brett Granstaff as the Saint. He was totally believable as both the Reverend and as a Wrestler. This was a lovely story, told with a great pacing to it and the direction and emotion of the story was palpable. Low budget but good quality.

LOVE this Movie. Some may find it slow... I don’t mind that. The story is Great. Funny and heartfelt. Good acting. Love the characters. Then again I’m Just Grateful to watch a good movie that doesn’t curse the name of my King. Jesus name is used as a curse word in just about every movie these days and even in some of my favorite 80s movies. Disheartening. It’s all about pure flix for me.
