What is WileyPLUS?
WileyPLUS is a research-based online learning environment designed to help students succeed. WileyPLUS courses are designed to provide students with online assignments, study help, and further resources to support a specific textbook.
A WileyPLUS access code is a printed (or digitally delivered) code that you can purchase to set up your WileyPLUS account and access your instructor’s course materials and assignments. Once you purchase the code, you will receive instructions on how to set up your access.
Do I need a WileyPLUS access code?
If your instructor has listed a WileyPLUS access code as part of the requirements for your course, then you do need a code. Be aware that used codes or codes from third-party sellers may not be valid. A code can only be used once for a single course.
If your instructor is not using WileyPLUS, you will not be able to access the WileyPLUS system.
Can I purchase WileyPLUS access through Amazon?
Wiley does sell WileyPLUS access codes through Amazon.com. However, Wiley cannot guarantee that used book purchases or purchases from third-party sellers will be valid. All WileyPLUS codes on Amazon.com are sold bundled with a printed book or binder-ready textbook. Make sure you are purchasing your WileyPLUS access as part of a bundle, and make sure you are buying directly from Amazon.com (not a third-party seller). If you are not comfortable making your purchase on Amazon.com, you can always purchase directly from Wiley.

Very clear writing/explanations, use of intuitive notation, problems gradually get tougher at a reasonable rate. Although my area is more in control systems, this MSE book has been really interesting. I'd take another course in it if I had time.
Book definitely assumes you have the prerequisites though -- some of the math can get tricky, but's all reasonable for an undergrad. Excellent colors/visually appealing. I think MSE is a very visual subject, and since I'm not a visual person, it really helps to see what's going on with clear diagrams/pictures.
My professor said this is a classic MSE book and I can see why. Two thumbs up.
Depending on your professor, it will depend on how much you use it; personally, this is one of the few textbooks that I have used for homework and studying for tests. It was surprisingly useful.
My only complaint is that the binding has been falling apart since I got the book in Agust, so I need to be very careful with the book.

Note however that it doesn't have much math, so if that's what you want...
