This is an entertaining and engaging, romantic comedy with a touch of seriousness thrown in for good measure. It consists of a well-acted, interesting story about a career woman's love for an orphaned boy and an ex-bus driver/would-be author's love for the woman. There are a couple of twists, but all's well that ends well. Worth watching. The two main stars were big box office in their hay-days and good at their craft. In the mood for a light diversion? Check it out!

What a good light-hearted and romantic movie. Glenn Ford and Evelyn Keyes have the special chemistry. Their story is similar to The Ugly Truth were the woman character is transformed from a wallflower to strikingly gorgeous woman with the guidance of the male character and then the chemistry takes off.

Not my favorite Glenn Ford movie

I had never seen this before. it was OK and fun to see parts of Los Angeles back then. But not the best story. Glenn looks really young and is trying to act in a way sometimes that makes him seem a little uncomfortable with what the director is asking him to do. But if you have already seen GILDA and A POCKETFUL OR MIRACLES or even THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S FATHER 100 times, you could give this a look

A wonderful movie. I have always been a fan of Glenn Ford since childhood. This is funny, light-hearted and romantic. Some may find it dated, but to me it was every bit a good as when I saw it years and years ago.

Such a cute movie! Glenn Ford and Evelyn Keyes truly shine. The little boy is just adorable-- a scene stealer.

Lots of fun and shenanigans

Lots of fun and shenanigans, great acting, and a young Glen Ford, so handsome! No violence, disgusting language, or sex scenes, just good clean movie with an actual plot.
We enjoyed it and will watch it again. T&C , Utah
