It's a question we all ask ourselves at some point. Depending on the season we focus our identity on our job performance, marital status, personality type, or social network, among other options. However, there's a larger question to consider.
Who does the Bible tell me I am in Christ?
New from The Gospel Coalition with wisdom and perspective of insightful authors-including Jen Wilkin, Hannah Anderson, and Jen Pollock Michel "Identity Theft" seeks to answer this question by:
- Exposing our false notions of identity
- Understanding the biblical truth of our identity in Christ
- Reflecting on what it looks like to live in our new (and true) identity.
In 10 chapters we'll cover everything from our identity as children of God to citizens of heaven. At the end of each chapter, study questions will facilitate group discussion as you consider this glorious truth with your friends.
Join us as we explore how knowing who we are in Christ changes every aspect of our lives.
Women in all seasons of life can feel alone, longing for encouragement, guidance, and wisdom from someone who has been there before. They would value the wealth of knowledge and wisdom from older women’s experiences, but often these women don’t feel equipped to offer help. This book is a starting place, meant to be a springboard for mentoring discussions between older and younger women, setting the biblical basis for mentoring from Titus 2 before outlining 11 lessons that guide their time together. Each lesson focuses on a topic such as God’s word, prayer, contentment, temptation, and church, with activities for before, during, and after the mentoring session. Younger and older women will grow together as they use these lessons to walk through life together.

Fresh, biblical ideas to help you pray for your husband or wife.
A happy and healthy marriage is one of God’s sweetest gifts to us. And one of the best ways to nurture that is through the power of prayer.
This guide will help you to pray bold, Scripture-based prayers for your husband or wife that will strengthen and enrich your marriage. It covers 21 prayer themes, with each one including five prayer prompts from a particular passage of Scripture. You’ll be equipped to pray deep and effective prayers for your spouse’s character and spiritual walk, for your life together as a couple and through challenging seasons.
You can use this book to help you to pray on your own or as a couple, and it makes a great wedding, anniversary or Valentines Day gift.
As Nancy Guthrie says in her foreword:
"There is a great deal we can do for our spouses. But there is so much that only God can do, so much that only he can develop, and so much that only he can provide. So we pray. And as we pray instead of worry, pray instead of complain, pray instead of strategize, we find that God is not only doing a work in our spouse; he’s doing a work in us too."
Illustrated, rhyming children’s book on the Christian message of God’s grace and forgiveness.
This illustrated, rhyming book will help parents explain to children the unique and wonderful Christian message of God’s grace—that Jesus offers forgiveness and allows us to move on from our mistakes.
It can be used to share the heart of the Christian faith with children or to remind them that Jesus is the person to run to when they mess up.
Children will learn that God’s grace is enough to cleanse and change us every day, as the book itself says...
My child, here’s the truth:
From God, you can’t hide
He sees what you’ve done
He knows what’s inside
But please don’t despair
There’s good news, I say!
Whatever you do
God’s grace makes a way
Yes, his grace is enough
It’s so big and so free
His grace is enough
Both for you and for me
This beautiful hardback book makes a great gift for children aged 3-6 and even beyond.

Kids love to dream about what they might do when they grow up: jobs they might have, places they might go, people they might meet. And parents and caregivers love to encourage and support them.
But for Christian parents, their greatest aspiration for their children, their dream of all dreams, is that whatever their kids do and wherever they go, they will love and follow Jesus.
As children embark on life’s journey with all their potential and aspirations, express to them your biggest dream with this beautiful illustrated rhyming children’s book.
As well as teaching children about the only thing that really matters in life, this book also reminds parents that telling their kids about Jesus is more important than anything else.

With warm teaching and perspective-shifting insights, Bible teacher Melissa Kruger walks you through the power-packed words of the apostle Paul to believers in the early church to discover what he knew about the secret to unshakeable peace--and how his insights can help any woman discover a secure and satisfying contentment no matter what life may bring. For generations, churches and families have used Advent wreaths to help prepare for celebrating the Lord's birth at Christmas. The evergreen wreath symbolizes eternal life and includes four candles—typically three purple and one pink, with a white candle in the middle that symbolizes the purity of Christ. Various traditions assign different topics to each candle, and the candles are usually given names to remind us of the good news of Christ's birth
To celebrate this season, TGC's editorial team put together 25 devotional readings that use the Advent wreath as a guide to focus hearts and minds on Christ during the month of December. Structured around traditional Advent themes—hope, peace, joy, love, and faith—these reflections will encourage your heart in this season of celebrating Christ's first coming, and longing for his second.
