About Mildred Abbott
Bio: Reading the Cozy Corgi series is pretty much all you need to know about Mildred. In real life, she’s obsessed with everything she writes about: Corgis, Books, Cozy Mountain Towns, and Baked Goods. She’s not obsessed with murder, however. At least not at her own hands (nor paid for… no contract killing here). But since childhood, starting with Nancy Drew, trying to figure out who-dun-it has played a formative role in her personality. Having Fred and Watson stroll into her mind was a touch of kismet.

Still aglow from their winter holiday wedding, Winifred and Leo return from their honeymoon to the warmth of their cozy Colorado mountain town of Estes Park. Watson, in all his chubby corgi grumpiness, happily settles in to napping with his stuffed animals by the fire and steering clear of customers in the Cozy Corgi Bookshop & Bakery—except when snagging crumbs and treats.
The honeymoon bliss comes to a screeching halt on a stormy night as a fatal car crash takes the life of a newcomer in town… and leaves Fred to comfort an adorable puppy. But while Fred and Leo fall for the new bundle of hyperactive fluff, Watson expresses mixed emotions about his new role as big brother.
Mysteries abound in a case lacking a murder. But Fred is certain she’s not barking up the wrong tree. As she and Watson sniff out clues and unravel deception and sinister plots, every dog will have his day… and find his forever home.

Cordelia Davis lives with no regrets, despite her life changing drastically a half century ago when a tornado altered the destiny of the little Ozark town of Willow Lane. The town grew back stronger and more beautiful, and Cordelia, her sister, Pamela, and her best friend, Wanda, built a life to treasure.
As Willow Lane honors the memory of those lost and celebrates all that has been achieved, tragedy refuses to remain in the past. News of murder rocks the pastoral countryside when Cordelia discovers a body on her farm, beneath her beloved willow tree. And while the police make an immediate arrest, Cordelia finds herself untangling a web of lies and long-ago secrets.
With suspects in every nook of her cozy town—and an old flame knocking on her door—it will take all Cordelia’s tenacity to face the past and to weather the mysteries of Willow Lane.

When Winifred Page attends the Christmas-themed bridal show for a preeminent designer—solely to fulfill her role as best friend and maid of honor, mind you—she is stunned to find herself relishing the details of soft lace and the spectacular blown-glass display dangling overhead. Her delight doesn’t last long, though, as Fred’s aversion to everything fashion makes her jealous of her corgi, Watson, no doubt napping at home under the cozy Christmas tree.
The romance and elegance of haute couture doesn’t fade to a sublime end, however, as the show comes to a dead stop—literally, for one Estes Park merchant—with a cry of murder as a body is discovered in a lace-strewn dressing room.
Untangling relationships wrapped in secrets and lies is anything but a simple sashay down a runway. But Fred and Watson are determined to fashion the truth from the scraps they uncover to ensure justice and to return their cozy town to silent nights and white Christmas dreams for the holidays.

Cordelia and her fellow Twister Sisters, Wanda and Pamela, get swept away in competing harmonies, and unless they can fit the notes into the right spots, the music will come to a deadly halt.
(Official blurb coming soon.)
But when patrons are hospitalized—and one dies—the work of two decades of countless one-pan meals threatens to crumble. With old grievances flaring into accusations, local townspeople who once saw the Twister Sisters as angels of kindness, now look with suspicion at Cordelia’s cheese-covered casseroles.
The dramatic twists and turns at a funeral and a rodeo—along with the complexities of love and old hurts and fears—will test Cordelia’s skills at navigating the dark secrets and vendettas in her quiet Ozark town. As past and present collide, Cordelia, Wanda, and Pamela must protect the reputation of Twister Sisters and prove they are not angels of death… by casserole.

Estes Park readies for one if its most beloved celebrations—Halloween! As Winifred Page prepares her bookshop for the festivities, she ponders whether forcing her grumpy corgi, Watson, into a costume is worth the effort, or his disdain. But outfit themes take a backseat when Creature Seekers, a popular monster hunting television program, teams up with local yeti hunter, Rocky Castle, for their Sasquatch special.
When Fred and Leo’s engagement party is disrupted by a vicious “yeti attack,” Fred can’t ignore the scruffy Rocky—though she dearly wishes she could—and the Creature Seekers who are the prime suspects. But betrayal, manipulation, and murder stalks through Estes… and as people hunt for the elusive yeti, the yeti might be doing some hunting of his own…

The Aspen leaves turn golden, prompting a season of romance to fall over the little Colorado town of Estes Park. As love is professed through precious gems, the local jewelry shop on Elkhorn Avenue experiences a rush of customers—not all of whom have the best of intentions.
When Winifred Page, accompanied by her cute curmudgeon of a corgi, Watson, stumbles upon the aftermath of a robbery of Aspen Gold, the owners ask for her help. With tourists few and far between at the Cozy Corgi Bookshop, Fred welcomes the chance to investigate. However, as is so often the case, the brilliance of romance gets tarnished a bit, and the cut of the situation might not be exactly as it appears. The only thing that is crystal clear, is by the time the case is closed, more than one life will be forever altered…

The Chipmunk Chronicles, the local newspaper, has a new gossip column—and gossip is great for the Cozy Corgi Bookshop and Bakery. Though infuriated by the way people are treated by the column’s author, Winifred Page can’t help wondering about the outrageous revelations. Fred’s grumpy corgi, Watson, however, is more concerned with an endless search for treats than the rumors flying around town.
When Gerald Jackson, a less than brilliant local lawyer, is featured in the column, people begin to suspect he’s working the town over in a quest for wealth rather than fighting for justice. As his status sinks, others are pulled under with him—people Fred loves.
For once, Fred and Watson are cajoled into investigation mode not for murder, but to help clear her friends’ names and their tarnished reputations. But while the greed and secret dealings in the dark she uncovers bring more questions than answers, murder finds a way to make an appearance after all…
(This culinary cozy mystery includes a recipe for crispy, golden empanadas.)
