Their grease gun tubes however, it's some real harbor freight stuff.
I had new tube charging or priming issues, I had minimal feed. The pressure was great but the volume reduced this effect on its work.
My tube blew up lol. Plunger , clip and washer all flew out. Spring went out and it was a garage sale of tube parts.
I had a hand pump Lincoln tube.
And that alone solved my problems. Instant prime, more volume and tubes are more completely empty.
I'd still buy another since any $19 Lincoln grease tube will fit.
The unit is hard to get primed.
It looses its prime several times with the same cartridge.
You have no feedback or way to tell if grease is going in.
I had problems with the grease plunger sticking.
You can think you are greasing something and nothing is coming out, even if it pumped a few second ago.
The equipment I am maintaining is worth a lot of money, I cannot trust this grease gun, therefore it now sits on the bottom shelf collecting dust and I have went back to the good old hand pump.
I chose this model due to battery pack interchange with my other equipment (I have several other Milwaukee 18 volt tools). I have not been disappointed by any of them.
The only reasons that I did not give it 5 starts is:
1. The price is a little high.
2. It needs a locking connector on the end of the hose (I installed locking connectors on all of my grease guns which saves time a frustration).
3. To make this perfect find a way to have interchangeable cartridges (then the price would not be a factor).
Sept 20th 2014. We've used this gun now for one planting season. Used heavily every day this spring with know problems at all. It's really a super machine. Really like the adjustable number of pumps.
Heres the deal, the Dewalts motor will power thru if you have a pin that wont take grease, the Milwaukee's motor will lock up and not turn, until you get the pressure off. I will say, I do like the 2nd speed of the Milwaukee, if everything takes grease easily, it gets the job done much faster. I will also say, the Milwaukee seems like it's made with cheaper parts as well. Especially since it costs so much more.
I didnt have the same problems others have, with the gun not priming.
