5 Savvy Who Isn’t Savvy Stars!!!

This is yet another winner from Ms. Rowe. I loved everything about Savvy and Aiden’s story. The way the book started I wasn’t really sure where she was going with it, but very quickly we find out and let me tell you, Savannah Valentine or Savvy as she prefers to be called, is a woman that has had some bad luck both in love and work. Having said that, Ms. Rowe definitely had me laughing while at the same time my heart hurt a little bit for our heroine.

But what’s a better way to feel better about yourself than to have a one-night stand with a hottie she sees in a bar in small Southern California town…nothing I tell you.. it’s all about forgetting what just happened, add some cocktails into the mix and it’s a party.

For Aiden’s part he wasn’t sure what to think of this beautiful woman, but he did know he wanted to spend time with her, but it’s really bad timing for him, but hey, when offered the opportunity with no expectations, any hot blooded man would definitely be on board especially when there’s a mutual attraction….

“’Thank God this crazy attraction I’m feeling is mutual.’ Oh man. That’s it. My lady boner is at full mast…..’I want to have sex with this man.’”

And so begins the weekend that neither of them will ever forget. As I got deeper and deeper into their story, I fell in love with Aiden and how he treated and appreciated Savvy. They have the same sense of humor and the stories they tell each other had me rolling…there’s a chicken suit involved. That alone is worth the read!!

Both of them are headed to Vegas, Savvy for her 5 year high school reunion and Aiden, well, he’s on a mission and when Savvy finds out what’s going on, she’s totally on board to help him. Of course, they’re combustible when they’re getting it on; so much so, that neither wants it to end. But, there’s a few roadblocks in their way and this is why I loved this book and this author so much.

Ms. Rowe, has written this story in such a way that you can’t help but love these two. I was rooting for them from the first time they met and when they come up with a plan to knock these roadblocks out of the way, watch out cuz they’re ON FIRE!!!

There’s a cast of secondary characters that in and of themselves had me laughing or rolling my eyes whichever was appropriate at the time. And there’s a couple of surprises for us too, which had me fist pumping in my living room.

Ultimately, what this book really comes down to, is finding the person that, while you may not think you’re worthy of them, listening to your heart and acquiescing to what it wants leads to finding the love of your life…

“Now that I’m here with this girl, my heart leaping and soaring at her every moan and whimper, it’s clear to me this woman owns me.”

There’s so much to this story that will capture you heart, mind and soul, but I’m definitely not giving anything away because you need to experience this love story for yourself.

Lauren Rowe delivers another fabulous read with Misadventures on the Rebound. Character driven, hilarious yet adorable and cute, there is something for everyone in this book as one craptastic day takes this heroine on a ride she will never, ever forget.

Savannah Valentine is currently in a job she loves, she works hard, and has huge aspirations and yet as she goes into work at the beginning of this book, her life changes when she is let go. Upset and worried for her financial future, Savannah goes home and then finds her boyfriend is doing the dirty on her. Could this day get any worse? Savannah was a fantastic heroine, incredibly clever, a little naïve and low on the street smarts, but this only made her more endearing. Down on her luck, and upset, Savannah takes off to her high school reunion in Las Vegas, even though it is the last place she wants to be, but it takes her away from her current situation and at least will bring a little respite.

“I said I have no street smarts, Aiden. I didn’t say I’m a moron.”

Stopping en-route in a bar, Savannah has a chance encounter with one hot as sin man, a night definitely to remember, the perfect, dreamlike rebound, but what happens when one night just isn’t enough…for either of them.

Aiden was perfection for Savannah; neither was looking for it and yet it landed in their laps anyways. Fate has a way of bringing people together, and fate certainly knew what it was doing with these two. It was once these two hit Las Vegas that the real shenanigans began. Lauren Rowe goes Oceans 11’esque in this book, and it was this that really brought a different dynamic for our number crunching heroine.

“And, suddenly, I know for a fact I’m not going anywhere. Ever. Because, for the first time in ten effing years, I finally feel like I’m home.”

This was an unputdownable read, with a fast-paced plot and endearing characters. Funny in places, cute and hot in others and with that added extra action that really pulled this book together. Totally loved it!!

There is not one Lauren Rowe book that I have not absolutely loved, and this book is no exception. She weaves a sweet, steamy, sexy, smart, fun story with her unique brand of Lauren speak writing. There is no having to get into the story as you are BAM into the story before the first page has been turned. You are pulled into Savvy and Aiden's world effortlessly and the story flows. These two characters are well defined and show how opposites attract. Savvy, while not street smart, sure is book smart savvy. Aiden who is definitely not Ugly is one fine put together yummy man who does have street smarts, and a boatload of knowledge concerning giving your girl the very best out of this world LOVE. There are secondary characters who are fantabulous, and a couple of douchebags! Plus we get to see another Misadventure couple and that is very cool. The support that Savvy and Aiden show each other is phenomenal as is all the delicious steamy OMG love! There is adventure, laughing, and loving with some drama and one spectacular happy ending. So MANY FEELS and laugh out loud delightfulness! As always the research for Rebound is spectacular. This book shows how you can have a no good very bad day and end up having one truly happily ever after, and what happens in Vegas doesn't have to stay in Vegas. Thank you Lauren Rowe for your captivating stories and your attention to detail. This reader loves every word you write.

Another fabulous Misadventure by the wonderfully talented Lauren Rowe which has once again packed a punch with some amazing laughs, some tender lovin & some super sizzling chemistry.

Savvy was funny, loveable, smart & determined. Her spirit shone bright, even when life had been shifty to her, she just kept moving forward. Her wild side was infectious & had me laughing & swooning in equal measure at her antics and attitude as her misadventure played out.

Aiden, gah this man was gorgeous. A genuinely decent, beautiful man, who has paid the price for shitty decisions, but still has one more to make. Damn this man & all his lushness. He made me smile, he gave me butterflies & boy did he hurt my poor lil heart with his struggles.

Together they were addictive from start to finish. Amazing chemistry that flowed throughout the story, amplified with one hawt as hell sexual connection, that seriously left me drooling. I loved their impulsiveness, their wild side, their passion & their honesty. Lauren is a class act at creating characters & stories that you can so easily get lost in. A place to escape. A love story you want as your own. This was all that in one crazy, cute little bundle.

This is yet another match made in heaven. Lauren Rowe and the Misadventures team really know how to produce a fantastic story.

Savannah and Aiden meet by chance at a roadside dive bar. Savvy is on her way to her school reunion in Las Vegas and Aiden is on his way to help his father. I'll say no more on Aiden's reasons for his trip but they are juicy and intriguing. This part of the storyline was so interesting and cleverly written that it added so much enjoyment to my reading.
Savannah is licking her wounds and gorgeous Aiden is just the guy for a steamy one night stand. What actually follows is a fast burning, passionate love affair between the two.

As always, Lauren Rowe makes instalust/ love seem completely plausible. These two are destined to be together. I just loved their chemistry 💕

Can't wait to read what comes next from both Lauren and the Misadventures series, separately or together.

What another little gem created by the indubitably talented Lauren Rowe.
Whether it's a full length novel or a short read like this one, Lauren tends to squeeze the utmost out of her characters so that when we finish her story, we can actually say we know these people. We empathise with these people. We love these people.
Savannah & Aiden are a blast together. I so adore strong sassy heroines and although Savannah has this somewhat timidity about her, when she is provoked, her ferocious true inner self comes to the fore and she roars. Gosh I love her spirit.
Aiden is not necessarily who he seems at first. Gorgeously handsome with a body built for sin...let's face it, what woman would pass up the chance to knock on Hell's ceiling with a man like Aiden?...not me and Savvy, god love her, didn't pass up her chance either. Even though his life has been plagued with bad luck and bad decisions, Aiden's moral compass is firmly pointed in the right direction.
This story brings together a somewhat unconventional couple which I think lends to the humorous and quirky behaviour & banter we see between them.
Even though this raillery we see is true Lauren Rowe uniqueness, the steamy passion that permeates throughout the pages is typical of Lauren's emotional style.
The underlying message of love and acceptance shines through even during the torrid love scenes...it really is an experience.
Even though this is only a short read, it still packs a punch with its distinctive comedic flavour, true love connection and real life lessons. I loved this one

This was my first Misadventures novel and it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. I loved the start, and the meet-cute, everything was going great until I got inside Aiden’s head. Then the seed was planted that it was a long con and he was just playing Savvy and I had no faith in him again. I kept waiting for the part where he upped and walked away. Maybe it was the Vegas background or I’ve read too many darker books lately but I wasn’t satisfied in the end.
