After gaining yet another new ability, Missy is seeking her proper balance back at West Point. The routine of studies, sports, duties … these all help her adjust. So do having friends and helping others. Of course, her life can’t be that simple.
While the alliance between supernaturals and the government has proven itself, with the terrorists reluctant to attack and risk yet another failure, Missy is now being watched by enemy agents. They believe she is a demon! Will they learn enough to target the U.S. once again?
And, what about that spy the terrorists have working in Congress? Perhaps it’s time for Missy to stop hiding what she can do. After all, such things can’t be proven and the world won’t ever believe them, so let the enemy beware!

Editorial Reviews
Review
- Goodreads: over 3,500 four star and five star ratings for this series!
- "I have enjoyed all of the Missy books. She gets into lots of trouble but always seems to be on the good end of things at the end. She is a strong heroine but also likes to help others so even when she is making trouble, it's usually for the bad guys. She is getting less shy and more developed as a person/cat as the books progress. I love these stories!" Amazon
- "This is the first review for this series. As soon as I read one, I wanted to read the next. This is the best series I have read in years ... I hope there are more books coming soon. There are plenty of surprises in each book." Amazon
- "Entertaining and fast paced. I appreciate that we do not have to suffer through another characters' angst over their abilities. She is what she is and she celebrates it. Her desire to be not just an officer, but the best possible officer she can be is laudable and refreshing. Her drive to succeed at whatever she tries is not gender based - just Missy in action. I look forward to the next installment - after all, reading is for entertainment and this author provides it in spades!" Amazon

About the author

P. G. Allison has always loved stories about female characters with special powers (Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Bionic Woman, Batgirl) along with stories about witches and werewolves. The Missy the Werecat Series is about a girl growing up with no pack, no pride of other werecats and no Alpha; Missy is a girl with fantastic abilities doing great things in today's world, amongst humans. Other books in this paranormal, new adult, urban fantasy series have Missy going on to West Point and eventually serving in the Special Forces.

After reading other reviews, i wanted to add some comments.
I disagree with the comment about commentary and this book being the worst in series for it. The truth is that it is more like when the 2% seems dirtier when the rest is clean, and i believe that the author has greatly improved the narrative in this way.
Second... If you are posting a spoiler... You are wrong... But at least warn folks so they can skip.
Finally... Mr. Allison, i agree about the sex scenes. I simply skipped over them... But have read enough of them to know that they add no value to your books. We men are blunt thinkers, and female RAs are far more circumspect. In truth, your romance scenes are actually more difficult to get through than Nora Roberts by a wide margin, and provide no balance to your stories.

All that said... Please consider a partial shift... Please interact more... And please keep up the great story!!!
Two things about this novel compared to some of the previous novels, is that the author has read the feedback on many of the other reviews and has not spent so much time rehashing all the things that occurred in the previous novels, and the sex scenes that could go on for many pages are now presented in just a paragraph or so. I think both of these changes allow more room for the story and make for a better novel.
I love this series and highly recommend it to those enjoying reading about powerful young women. There is explicit sex, more than necessary, but less than too much.
