About the authors
Based in Toronto, Canada, I write horror, science fiction and mystery/crime, often all at once in the same story. Garnering an Honorable Mention in "The Year's Best Science Fiction" and nominated for numerous Aurora Awards, my work has appeared in Obsessions: An Anthology of Original Fiction, Fiction River: Visions of the Apocalypse, Fiction River: Superpowers, Fiction River: Visions of the Apocalypse, Fiction River: Sparks, Fiction River: Recycled Pulp, the anthology Tesseracts 16: Parnassus Unbound, the anthology Tesseracts 15: A Case of Quite Curious Tales, the anthology Imaginarium 2012, the anthology Ride the Moon, the TransVersions anthology, Deadbolt Magazine, On Spec, The Vampire's Crypt, Storyteller, Reflection's Edge, the anthology Future Syndicate, and Into the Darkness, amongst others.
CJ Mattison resides in north Texas, with their partner and an enormous inventory of cooking equipment. When not writing, they fill the world with good food, good music, and good ideas. Or ideas that at least seem good at the time. CJ's realms are in mystery, romance, romantic mystery, and contemporary fiction, and hopefully a mish-mash of all of these. Fiction is all about discovery, for both the reader and the author. Join CJ on their quest for discovery and adventure.
Stephannie lives in Hermosa Beach, California, with husband Dave,
English Cocker spaniels Orry and Rosie, and dachshund Oscar.
Fantasy and science fiction are her first loves for writing & reading,
but she also enjoys a dash of mystery or romance.
Also, she's been knitting for more than 30 years, and loves combining
lace, cables and colorwork in her knitting pattern designs. Find her
knitting patterns on Ravelry.
As a freelance editor, Lyn Worthen has helped indie authors polish over six million words of fiction, and her multi-author anthologies have received awards and acclaim from the League of Utah Writers, the Critters Writing Workshop, and the Horror Writers of America. She is a frequent participant in fiction workshops and conferences, both as a presenter and a student of the craft and business of publishing.
She is a self-described caffeine-to-text conversion unit, which explains how she gets so much done. To learn about her latest projects and releases, visit her at www.camdenparkpress.com
The author of The Doors of Caled and A Web of Stars, Books I and II of The Parchment Papers fantasy adventure series, as well as other Nine Worlds tales, L.D.B. (aka Lisa) Taylor writes for readers of all ages from Witt’s End—her perpetually dusty home among the deer, turkey, coyotes, and occasional mountain lion. Also in attendance are her five children, six (it's a long story) dogs, a suspicious cockatiel, a dozen or so chickens, and one husband.
A lifelong reader and writer, Lisa appreciates wit, chocolate, hot tea, British accents, cool mountain evenings, kindness, travel, and books by the score. Visit her (sadly neglected) website at ldbtaylor.com

Kat Farrow grew up skinning her knees and listening to the wind among the rabbit trails and red rocks of the Four Corners area of the western U.S.
She spent many days of her adult life distracted by her imagination, creating possible stories belonging to the titles of books surrounding her at work. Now free from libraryland, she is creating her own stories and making up titles of her choosing.
A multi-genre author, her works range from fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, historical, and children’s stories.

Wife, writer, gamer, cook, part-time philosopher, yarnie, painter, and reiki master. Leah was born in San Antonio, Texas, but raised in just about every other southern state in the US. Ever the nomadic cowgirl, she currently lives in North Little Rock, but is already looking to pull up stakes and move again. Her influences come from many genres and minds she considers a good deal more creative than her own, but her favorite indulgences are urban fantasy, psychological thrillers, weird westerns, and paranormal romance.
