We received this book as part of an amazon book box, so I did not choose it myself, and I despise it. "Some mommies work at home" with a picture of a mom with a broom and mop? I work at home doing a job that I get paid to do, not just clean the house. Could he not have given that mom more life? "Some mommies order pizza" as she is lounging on the couch. We order pizza because we're run ragged and have a million other things to do, not because we are just sitting on the couch. I'm not sure Todd Park has any respect for moms or women in general.
With that said, my daughter does really like the illustrations and bright colors. She keeps bringing it over to me to read. I just edit the words as I read.
