The Hydration Station has a simple, tidy setup that re-moisturizes Lagoona while keeping you dry. A curved reservoir in the front of the display is filled with water through a small funnel. When the back door is snapped into place and covered with the scale-detailed roof, Lagoona can be sealed in for re-hydration. Decorate the chamber by filling the bubbly shelves with a variety of Lagoona's accessories, including her slippers, journal, hairbrush, and sleep mask. And don't forget her pet fish, Neptuna, who comes with her very own sleep mask!

If any of you have the Freaky Fusion Sirena Von Boo doll, this is an awesome substitute for Lagoona Blue because she's half mermaid/half ghost.
Anyway, my first one was partly DOA, but my review is based on the toy when it works.
I really like this toy, it was a neat idea, everything fits together nicely. However, I was sort of hoping this item would be something that could be used as a bedside nightlight, and that's not the case. Not only does it run off of 3 AA batteries (which are not included, so be aware of that), and thus probably would not last a whole night on, but in the three different "ON" settings, none of them are entirely without bubble effects, and the motor for the pump that makes the bubbles go is fairly loud, at least loud enough that it wouldn't be restful to sleep next to.
So, all in all, this is a great toy- definitely the most well-thought out and intricate bed in the Dead Tired series. Just be aware that it's just a toy and can't really effectively double as a nightlight, and you'll need to have a bunch of AA batteries on hand for it if you or your child uses this a lot.
Work etc...but I am glad I didn't let that sway me away
From this purchase.
This is the only thing my daughter wanted for Christmas,
So the only gripe I have is the fact that because it was sold
Out everywhere at local stores..i paid 80 bucks for a 30 dollar
Toy...that is just insane.
I think my daughter was mildly disappointed because
She realizes she can't carry this thing around and had to be
The doll is beautiful...but her hands are very flimsy and kinda just fall
down and not hold their pose.
The noise the tank makes is to be expected from a battery
Operated machine...and I think people could really benefit
from reading the manual where it explains that you hold
the shell button for so many seconds to get the other light/bubble
Options. Id say this is a great product and I would buy it again.
Setup was straight forward. Be prepared - you''ll need a Phillips screw driver and most important - 3 AA batteries so you can wow yourself with the light-up, bubble-action Hydration Station. This is where the moment of truth is delivered, and quite honestly a total let down. Press that button and you're greeting to a motor that is simply a POS that sounds like a mini generator. Seriously, this is way too lound and way too annoying. For the price you'd think they could source a quieter motor or an alternative means to generate those bubbles, it ain't rocket science. So this Hydration Station also lights up, which is cool, particularly with the lights off so you can view the glowey coolness of your zombie chic, but alas, 10 seconds of that mini generator forces you to sigh and turn the sucker off. If the manufacturer is insistent on putting a POS motor in this thing, the least they could do is provide a switch to only have the light on so you don't have to put up with the motor noise for the bubbles. But we wanted some light-up, bubble-action Hydration Station. I guess that's asking too much.
If you're considering this for your child and have disposable income, go for it. Otherwise spend your hard-earned money on something elsewhere.
