One thing to note, Moog changed their boot seal design. The new design is now part of the ball joint fitting so the unit looks like there is no seal on it. Old style boots use to slip on over everything and was easily visably. They have published a pdf document about the change. When I went to get it aligned, the mechanic instead that the boot was missing on the right side. I had to show him the document. The left side was old stock so it had the original designed boot on it.

Clearly this is a common issue as there are other complaints the exact same. I will update my rating when problem is resolved.
Fast forward 4 months and 12,000 miles... clunking so bad I replaced the front diff bushings thinking that was the problem ( obviously it wouldn’t be the brand new ball joint right?) WRONG. Clunking still there, checked ball joints, BOTH brand new lower Moog ball joints are bad. Junk. I always thought Moog was a reputable brand, I suppose that’s why I didn’t even pay attention to bad reviews. I’m am livid.
