Well rounded indie production.

This is a well rounded indie film. The story is something we've seen many times but it was impressive overall as you can tell the director worked with limited resources. The cinematography and overall look of the movie was good. The acting was spotty at times which is to be expected, but the lead actor was good and believable. Well worth a watch.

I loved everything about this movie from the quality to the message. I’ve watched it numerous times at this point and I learn something new or notice something different everytime I watch it. S/O to the actors, actresses, director, and the rest of the crew. This is a must see.

Great Movie- Nice Ending
Verified purchase
First, it takes a lot for me to watch a movie. These actors were great and believable too. Although typical "Hard Times," theme, the storyline grew into a nice finish and an optimistic ending. This would be a great part 2 or a TV show. Enjoy!

More Ghetto Stereotypes

What we don't need is another hood movie. As if this is the only reality that our people have live. HBCU graduation is at all time high, new Black Entrepreneurs (not street pharmacist) are becoming millionaires, yet this is the only type of movie that seems to be green lighted. This is not who we are as a whole, Amazon and NetFlix can do better with their choices of representation.
