This was a DEEPLY terrible movie.

This movie was so contrived and unrealistic. Did they input a bunch of tropes into an algorithm and have a bot write it specifically so daughters could take their moms to brunch first so that it would be barely tolerable after mimosas and they could share terrible fantasies like an uber hot doctor expressing his love for a patient in labor, and an attempted rapist breaking down and asking for help from his estranged mom? I like a lot of these actresses but whew, this one was a stinker. I only have it 2 stars because the production quality was good and also, I have liked other movies these actresses have done in the pasts. Really, 1.5 of the stars are pity stars. Hollywood tripe at its worst. :(

I saw the actors in this and read the reviews so didn't watch, a year later (now) I came across it again and started reading the reviews then thought, I'm in the mood for a mother daughter movie so that's that. It was good. Not five stars movie theater but it was very enjoyable to watch on Amazon and not a wasted afternoon. Good acting, I loved the different stories all woven to make this movie. Watch! Read the reviews after =P

My friend and I just watched this movie together and LOVED it.
So positive and heartwarming. Everyone has a different story and this movie told so many different stories but all with so much respect for mothers and daughters. I'm recommending this movie to all that I know. Thank-you.

I get what they were trying to do, create many heartwarming stories that flowed together. They were shooting for a Love Actually style movie and failed epically. Halfway through I still wasn't sure who anyone was and it didn't get better. None of the plots got enough time to even get into the story. I kept thinking it must get better but nope. Don't waste your time.

Wonderful, feel good Mother Daughter flick

This was an awesome movie related to the mother daughter relationship. Too bad there were two daughters with wealthy Moms...Just wasn't very realistic, but the adoptive family was great! The Mom having a baby at a young age is seen more often than we would like to admit and having the grandma pull the strings is still happening. My heart felt for them and the Mom in the hospital. Such a feel good pull on the heartstrings movie! Nice girl cry...Loved it!!!

The reason I continue to order items from this vendor is that I am always pleased with the service. The products are what I ordered, no surprises, the delivery is always prompt and as promised, and the prices for items is always reasonable.
As for this movie, itself, it left much to be desired. I thought with this kind of cast it would be better than average but I was disappointed to say the least. I would not suggest a purchase unless you just want to waste money. The viewing is probably best left to renting at one of the $1 a night kiosks.

Scattered, on a lot of levels

Too confusing, too many players with too many situations. Why was there a dying friend? Why was there a food truck? Why was a lucid (but supposedly alzheimers mom) brought in? Why do we need a scene between rapist musician & his mother?
