Predictable

Run of the mill kidnapping movie you have seen 100 times before. Acting is mediocre. People act in ways they wouldn't in real life and do things that don't really make sense. Also, there's a lot of stereotyping going on with the characters that I didn't care for. But.....it is watchable if you have nothing else to do.

Quasi-thriller that's more like a Lifetime Movie: Skip it unless you have mono & really need something to kill the time
Verified purchase
I love psychological thrillers, but this movie was lacking in production value, character development, acting, and story-line. It starts off well enough, and I was fairly engaged until the plot took an ill-advised hard-left turn and it seemed like the actors (and writers) started just "phoning it in." The end result was more like a Lifetime Movie -- okay if you have mono and have been bed-ridden for 3 weeks straight with nothing else to distract you, but otherwise -- skip it.

Not worth watching....there's a reason you can't find this anywhere for free.

I am ashamed to say I paid money to watch this movie. I read about it on IMDB and it sounded vaguely interesting and as I was bored. I was annoyed that I couldn't find a place to watch it for free online, since it seemed to be a tv movie. However, I should have taken that as an omen of what was to come with this film. It's terrible, no one can act except Richard Harmon, and nothing makes sense and gets pretty weird. It features the mother of a kidnapped child torturing a neighbor's kid. It's dark and weird in a poorly written and executed way.

Good storyline, fair acting, despite many plot holes.

Good storyline, though I was a little disappointed by the ending. There were quite a few plot holes that never got wrapped up, and acting quality was a little lacking in areas, with the exception of Richard Harmon (Seth), who never ceases to amaze me. Over all good though, I would recommend.
