I loved this story! It was entertaining, enjoyable, and fun. I was cracking up a lot. The characters were easy to relate to and likable. Mia was a great aunt for wanting to be there for her niece Violet but she was woefully unprepared for being in the wilderness. Violet was wonderful because she knew that her aunt wasn’t outdoorsy but wanted to spend time with her anyway. Cyrus seemed like a total mountain man extreme with ALL the skills he needed to survive. Cyrus and Mia were not prepared to meet each other but when they did, they were immediately attracted to each other. Mia’s attempts to learn more about survival in the woods with Cyrus helping her were a lot of fun. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

MOUNTAIN MAN FIXATED is a short book, but had me laughing from the very start. Mia Summers is a New York Lawyer. A city girl through & through. But when her very adorable nine-year-old niece, Violet, begs her to go camping with the Young Adventurer Club Annual Great Rapids Wilderness Excursion, she loves her niece so very much she can't say “No!” Mia knows nothing about camping and would have been happy never to go camping. Poor Aunt Mia comes totally unprepared for hiking & canoeing in the great outdoors. When she finds out the flats she is wearing are not fit for hiking, and that there is no cell phone reception, no WIFI or internet, nor electricity either. Well, she then finds that she is like a fish out of water. After two hours of canoeing to their camping site, she makes the mistake of staying in the canoe “after” her niece has exited. She drifts all the way down stream in the rapids & loses her paddle, too! The swift rapids take her over the waterfalls. Lucky for her a burly Mountain Man comes along to save her & take her to his cabin. His name is Cyrus Colt. He reminds her of Grizzly Adams, but is so very good to her that she may never want to leave.

She is fast becoming one of my favorite insta authors - and with good reason! I have to use her books as a treat for a job well done because otherwise, I would never move from my reading nook.

Ok, this book is so me. I am a city girl at heart and have the same reactions as her just thinking about going outdoors. She is only out in the woods for the love of her niece, having to put up with the judgy looks from the other adults in the group. Too bad they are right about her and she gets stuck in her canoe without a paddle...heading toward a very loud waterfall!

While she's trying to make it to shore she sees him. Thick as a redwood and built like a brick wall walking toward her with two dead rabbits in his hand. If she wasn't thinking about all the ways he can kill her she would be worshipping his body with her tongue.

If you are unfamiliar with Olivia's work and you love hot, steamy, over-the-top alphas and the feisty women who claim - this author is for you. You won't be disappointed!

I've enjoyed reading Ms. Turner's stories for years but I think she's really been outdoing herself with the last several she's released. I loved this one a lot. Most know I'm a sucker for the dual virgins with an obsessed alpha and this one checked both of those boxes. No abuse, no cheating, no real OM/OW drama. The majority of the story only covers a couple days with "I love you's" said within 24 hours of meeting but it doesn't feel rushed. We are talking about the wonderful world of insta-love here. So if that's not your thing, pick it up anyway. It's a good quick story. Epilogues at 2 years and 20 years. Keep up the great work OTT!!

I loved this story! Believe it or not, this is an insta-love, damsel-in-distress, opposites attract, drama-filled romantic comedy!

Cyrus and Mia’s love story doesn’t disappoint. Their chemistry is off-the-charts HOT, of course because that’s a guarantee in all of OTT’s books. As an added bonus, the story is adorable, with a great supporting cast in Violet, Mia’s sassy niece for whom Mia is making the ultimate sacrifice by camping with her. Then there is Carla, the purple people eater, who is convinced Mia is an alcoholic.

Trust me, that this is story is laugh-out-loud, funny with all the usual OTT yumminess. You’ll fall in love with Cyrus and be jealous of Mia, the city girl who hooks her mountain man at first glance.

I loved this story. It was fun. I enjoyed their witty repartee, it made me laugh. I really enjoyed the descriptions of before the waterfall all the way through it. Carla was appropriately annoying. She didn’t even try to help her, only made snarky comments. But finding your one, that’s what it all about. I liked that they were on the same page with their feeling, and not wanting to be part. What a fantastic epilogue to complete this story.
