Arrived today, very quickly with Amazon Prime. Began using these highlighters immediately in my Bible after trying them first on an index card. Using the yellow which is very nice and bright, I could NOT get these to bleed through the page. I DID heavily mark the passage. My Bible's pages are thin. It is an expensive NASB by Moody Publishers, Ryrie Study Bible from 1995.
These high-lighters are perfect. Even holding the page up to the light only gives a thinly veiled shadow of the highlighted passage on the other side of the page, but does NOT bleed through the page. These pages are thin, thin, thin. Even my pencil lead seems to push through the page but NO highlighters. I'm very happy with these and highly recommend them.
The only negative would be the thickness of the marker but you CAN use the edge to underline with a little difficulty but why? They are 'highlighters," not underliners. High-lighting with these are a dream. If a problem arises I will update my review.
Update.
I've continued to use these extensively for high-lighting in my Bible and they have worked flawlessly. Yes, because of the thinness of the pages, there may be a hint of the highlighting on the other side, BUT NO bleed through. Reviewers must be able to distinguish the difference between bleed through and just seeing the shadow of it from the other side of the page as light passes through. These Bible pages are thin. These high-lihjters are perfect.

Still after all the use and I have used these a lot in my Bible, I highly recommend them. They ARE more like a crayon than a typical highlighter. The yellow is very bright though like a typical highlighter. Easy to use.
