This offer is for a set of all 3 MudSponges. The Mudsponge Orange Most Absorbent pop up sponge is the perfect throwing sponge. We’ve shaped it like a potters rib to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. Dyed with a natural pigment, the color will fade with use. Natural sponges have been used for years. However, the quality of natural sponges can be unpredictable and there is the issue of environmental pressure on the little guys. Our sponges are made of an environmentally friendly material that is incredibly durable and compressed for economy of space and for the fun of watching them expand when introduced to water. Use the white for finishing and the blue workhorse for shaping clay.

I get that they're smooth for throwing and long lasting even, but ultimately they're nowhere near as absorbent as my cheap 6/$1 pack of sponges. Also, their shape is a bit awkward for me when I'm throwing. I end up using my $1 store sponges most of the time. For a 3/$20 pack of SPONGES I expected some serious excellence. These were just meh.
Their biggest perk for me - they do leave a smoother finish than my cheap sponges. That's about it for me.
Biggest con - They're not absorbent at all. Maybe that's why people like them so much? I can't figure it out...
