I do. Oh, boy do I.
That's why, after I saw my daughter playing in the bathroom sink one morning, I purchased these. Now, instead of breaking into the bathroom and finding my razor blades or the slew of chemical cleaners, I have a frustrated, crying toddler in the pre-dawn hours.
But the fun doesn't stop there!
I also get to watch my S.O. struggle with opening the door at all hours of the day! With the two holes in the cover only giving minimal space to grip our small door handles, not only is it difficult to turn the knob as an adult, but also virtually impossible with hands covered in lotion!
Oh, how I laugh and laugh. Until I sleep on the couch.
All told, these door knob covers keep everyone under the age of 3 out of the bathroom and give everyone over the age of 3 a challenge.
Our 2 year old twins can not get doors open with these now. They stand there and spin it around the knob. They haven't broken on us....very sturdy. Takes the big people in my family maybe 2 seconds longer to open the doors now, but that's a slight inconvenience compared to mega amounts of time cleaning up whatever the twins get into if they can get into forbidden rooms. It isn't hard to open doors with these at all, unless you're one of my two year olds!
This one is really terrible in comparison. It's much harder to put together, even off the knob. The reason it won't work for us at all is because the base opening is too small for the "stem" of the door knob. I can just get it on, but then it doesn't freely spin, which is the feature to making it child proof. Not that it matters at this point, but the opening where you put your fingers in to grasp the knob are no bigger than the Jool's either.
When you get to that point, here are a few other options that are out of the reach of small hands, and can be opened from either side:
the Door Monkey, which works pretty well for inside doors (keeps the door open a few inches), and Safety Innovations Top Door Lock, which sits on top of the door (looks like it could work for an inside garage door).
We have glass door knobs and it can be tricky for the adult, too, if your hands aren't perfectly dry or you don't know how to bypass the safety mechanism (as was the case with the babysitter who had to remove them when she couldn't figure out how to open the door).
As for removing, the babysitter figured it out, but our toddler has not. I found the pieces difficult to snap together and remove - just what I wanted in this product - and expect my toddler to be unsuccessful when she figures out it can be removed.
Highly recommend.
I do, however, have an issue of sometimes not being able to open the door myself! I don't have large hands, which may be part of the issue. On the surface that's no big deal, but I have found myself thinking about what I would do in case of emergency (one of the places we use this is on an exit door, out to the garage).
I also wish this product came in different colors, or could match the doorknob color better. That doesn't impact the quality of the product in any way, but aesthetically it isn't the best.

Only drawback being the little hole in the design because of which kids can poke finger to push & lock the door. I had to seal it with a piece of metal and tape from the inside to hide the push lock of the knob.
A design flaw that should be rectified.
