As a daughter of an Eastern European man, I found this story to be frighteningly close to the life my brother and I led as immigrant children in NY and LA. Candice Bergen played the part of the long-suffering wife exceptionally well and reminded me of my own dear mother in a hopeless situation. I was painfully reminded of childhood at the hands of a failure / psychopath who bullies his family because it's easier than facing his own weaknesses. He is now 97 and will die alone in a nursing home, miserable, forgotten, and unremorseful. There must be some justice for the innocent.
