Another Lifetime Movie

This is a Lifetime Movie week for me. But I never saw this one before and I'm quite surprised because I thought my husband and I'd just about seen all of them, esp those w Light. This movie got me a bit irritated w Light because her character is so weak, blind, and timid. I have issues w those three traits in people. I don't care how much you may love someone, have enough sense to see the truth when it's there in front of you. This family is doomed. The son Teddy wet the bed throughout his childhood, and now the youngest son is doing the same, so what, two serial killers in the family?? The father an alcoholic and the mother a cheater. Only hope for at least one family member w integrity and a moral compass is left to the daughter I guess. Movie was very annoying.

Not Much Mystery in this Who-Done-It

Dysfunctional family is putting it mildly. No real surprise as to who was the fiend, but everyone seemed to have some problems in this family. The daughter played acid rock. The younger son wet his bed. And then there is the dead son who died in a fire. Ah, but who set the fire? Dad’s a recovering alcoholic. Mom had an affair and is a control freak. Yep, it’s a family needing some group therapy.

Judith Light delivers another stellar performance as a mother with issues.

A cause for self-reflection

This movie was a sad depiction of what sometimes happens when a child does not get the heart-to-heart connection with his/her mother or father. The decisions were inexcusable and an extreme, but not a complete anomaly. Society is finally focusing more on mental health and how being validated as a child can strengthen it.

Movie that tugs at the heart!

Judith Light was amazing as the character she portrayed, excellent actress! All acting was great by main characters. Is sad to watch it unfold. There is much to learn & take away from movies like this! Worth the watch.

Slow....

This movie had Potential I guess but it moved so slow, left so much unexplained and just plain sucked. I put it on my phone after a painfully long hour just to ff to the end super quick and get it over with.
