Nelson Fisher has a rough childhood growing up. His mother bullied and punished him for all of the promises his father failed to keep for her. If it weren't for his best friend Dreta Melendez and her family, there would be no telling where he would have ended up. They both grew up rough and poor but managed to grow up and start a highly successful and profitable business together. He was not the classically handsome man but had other assets that made up for his looks. In business, he was strong, confident, charismatic and charming. Nelson had everything a grown man could dream of having except a true loyal and loving woman and a family of his own. When Talina Valentine came to work for him, he wanted her but did not think he stood a chance with her. He'd had so many failed unsatisfying relationships with women that only wanted to be with him because of what he could buy them. It was not until Talina ended her floundering five year relationship with her boyfriend Malcolm, that Nelson even dared to think he had a chance. Now, all bets were off and he was determined to win Talina's heart and he did. Talina started looking at Nelson with a different light and she fell fast and hard. She could not get over how he was able to just rock her world. He was so different from her previous boyfriends. Now, they are able to work on their HEA.

Blue wrote a sweet romance story about a man who had so many obstacle thrown in his way to overcome and he did, finally getting the one thing he wanted, a forever love. I can't wait to see what else is going to happen in this series as there were some things left unresolved. Get to writing Blue! Is Malcolm going to make another play? And, who is after Nelson and how far are they will to do? Will Nelson's mother show up and try to mess up the couple's bond? This is what I want to know.

I would first like to say I am a huge fan of this author and have read all of her works. My Funny Valentine I must admit was not my favorite but is still a wonderful read. I liked the idea of the boss having a crush on an employee but the relationship developed too quickly in my opinion. One day Talia is happy in another relationship next she is in love with Nelson. Talia's relationship prior to Nelson seemed great and the sudden breakup didn't appear to be believable to me. The hero in the story Nelson was contradicting at times and I wish if he was shy that he wasn't also portrayed by a ladies man at one point. I liked that Talia saw Nelson for who he was a never gave up on him, Talia's confidence in Nelson boosted his self-esteem. I would recommend this book to other readers.

I really love this book but girl you aren't done because you got me wanting more. So cut the brakes on the car and what kind of life did the twins have yes i call them them the twins for Detra and Nelson are are like twins they read each other so well , yes i know they aren't real twins or brother and sister but their relationship is like twins . when one is nice the other is bad or when one is quite the other is loud. They are two of the same coin yes i love how they stick up for each orher an back off when the other need space. Detra is a great sister she push her brother when he needed by not letting him give up on his prize but go after that love with all he got. So when do we get the next book because Detra was piss an ready to cut a b over her brother. I want to see how this play out. Thank you for this sizzle of Valentine. I love it.!!

More please! This release was right on time. Like an exquisite piece of chocolate, you want to savor it. But, before you know it you have eaten or in this case read the entire piece. Nelson and Talina are so endearing. Nelson is badass in business but so insecure in his personal life. It is amazing how Blue was able to flesh out her characters so thoroughly in this short novella. And, the secondary characters are going to be a riot. Detra and Mya will be too much! Thank you Blue for the way you ended Talina's relationship. People do grow apart. The editing and grammar was good. This story was lighthearted and funny. Wait until you read the bathroom bit. It has happened to us all. LOL. I know we will see more of Nelson and Talina. That's when the deep stuff will start to fly. Now bring on Braxton and King!

Once again Ms. Saffire has outdid herself. This book had me laughing and crying and smiling like a crazy person! I loved all the characters, the character development, the way the story was written and the story itself! Tbh, I want more lol. Blue always makes me feel like I know these characters, like they are old friends and I'm sad to see them go ehen the story is over. It was such an awesome change to have the male be insecure as opposed to the female. It was refreshing and attractive as hell. I also loved that their resolution wasn't drawn out. They talked and communicated, and it only took one misunderstanding for them to get there. And Detra? Oh how I love me some Detra! I want her to be my true love lol. Another fantastic read!

Yes, yes, yes! I loved these two characters and their "falling in love" story. You know, the one every couple has and the romantic in you loves to hear? Theirs was just too cute. But, as always, the sexy is there too--that man put a hurting on her and I loved her reactions each time they were together. We've all had the inner dialogue that makes us wonder if we're a freak 'cause the stuff is just that good. Lolol The funny quotient was off the charts, as well. That bathroom scene had me guffawing while on my flight. I know my seatmates thought I was insane but it was just written so well! Hilarious! Blue is becoming an automatic buy for me and I'm loving it!

Decent story. Some light moments balanced the negative vibes the hero seems to be stuck with.
I don't know if the story will continue with these characters but the author includes a subplot that comes out of nowhere and never gets resolved. I'm not sure how I got to the end without either loathing the main characters or becoming invested in them.
You will have decide if you want to invest the time with a book that may leave you shaking your head, saying, "What just happened?"

This is a novella, I have to keep telling myself this. I only have one complaint I needed more....the story is a beautiful love story,the main characters are easily likeable and I love Talina's drive and ambitions. Nelson seems so in love with Talina but you can tell he has a violent side to him....I feel like we're going to get more from Blue Saffire regarding these two and I'm definitely going to be reading it!!
