This movie for me was, for lack of a better word, enchanting. Mostly because of Alyssa Milano who is otherworldly beautiful and charming. I found it witty, funny, intelligent and heart warming. But the twist really nailed me!! That was totally unexpected and unlike so many romantic comedies,
unpredictable. I like this movie for so many reasons and I'm glad that I was bored enough to seek out something to occupy my mind, because in my
opinion, I stumbled across a rare find...I stumbled across a gem!! I love this movie!!! I highly recommend it!!!!

This has to be the most comedic and romantic movies that I have seen in a while. The reveal at the end had me questioning everything. I had to see it over again. I was so happy with the outcome. Ethan is quirky, romantic and so cute. This movie proves we have to get out of our comfort zone in order for things to happen. People can inspire us to keep dreaming. That is what love is supposed to do. I was so happy that this was on Prime Video. Amazon you continue to amaze me. You don't want to miss this treasure. I was swooning and tearing up at certain parts. This movie broke me in the most loving of ways.

Wow - this was SO bad. The actors were ok, but the writing... just painful. Totally cliched, but then you get this absurd 'twist' ('wrench,' more like) toward the end, then the REAL reveal... You know how you are watching a movie and you're thinking, this is so bad, I really need to turn it off... and then it does something SO much worse that you start yelling at the screen? Most rom-coms are pretty bad and cliched, I think, so I give them a lot of leeway - I even kind of like that. But this one - a true stinker, as much as the three leads, decent actors, try to do what they can with the awful material. Boo!

It's amazing how we all perceive things differently. There are some really negative reviews of this movie, but I actually thought it was very good. I've seen a few of these 'Hallmark' type of movies, and MGB is one of the better ones. Alyssa Milano does a good job here, and Christopher Gorham does a particularly good job. Maybe because I don't watch these sort of films too often, I didn't see the twist coming, so I liked it. Although I didn't really get the second to last scene, it didn't hurt the film overall. It just left me scratching my head a little bit. With a big budget, A-list actors (because that's the way Hollywood works), and a well–known director, this could be a reimagined big hit.

In the beginning, development of the romantic relationships between the love interests seems flat and mechanical. The character Jesse is insulting to her dates at times, and lacks warmth or charm. The only character in the story, in my opinion, with any charm is Ethan. If the movie had to stand on acting skills alone, I would only have given two stars.

However, the plot and story line is worth the whole movie. I will only say this, the main character in the story may not be who you think!!

To me, this movie was basically the romantic comedy version of the movie "The Sixth Sense."
I won't say more than that in this review, lest I give something away, but if you're paying attention at the start, you'll totally be able to tell where the film's going.
Even if you miss it, when you think back on it at the end, you'll smack yourself in the forehead and say, "ohhhhhh!"
Fun movie. Well-acted and charming.

I really started to hate this movie half way through & almost stopped watching it. Near the end there is a reveal that changes everything you thought was real about the movie. There is a happy ending for everyone.
I thought they took too long to let the viewer in on what was really going on. This might be more enjoyable to watch after knowing what's really going on !

I don’t. So I don’t usually write them. But this movie is adorable, quirky and knocked me for a loop with the twist at the end. Thats rare. I usually guess the end. The actors are good and have great chemistry. I got a little fed up with her dating the two guys but it all resolved in the end.

After a weekend of watching amazon prime movies, I thought the free ones were all boring or such awkward acting it’s uncomfortable to watch (seriously, The Choice, please don’t go there 💩).
