Very Good, but not a total Europe solution

It's very good, but you will probably need a different one too...

For what it is, I'd give this adapter 5 stars. While traveling in Iceland, I was able to plug in my iPad, iPhone, computer, digital camera, and spare battery into the adapter with no problems. It's very convenient to plug in the USB based items without needing their own power bricks, while simultaneously charging plug in devices like computers.

HOWEVER - I knock this down one star because... Due to its size, I couldn't use it at all in Europe. Many power outlets in Europe are deeply recessed, and this plug simply will not fit into them. I knew this before I left, so I had also purchased a basic, small adapter that would fit into any outlet. If you are traveling internationally, this is an excellent adapter for the places that it will work. But you'll ALSO need a basic, small adapter, for those homes and hotels that only have recessed plugs.

Broke immediately BUT replacement/refund offered

First time I attempted to use the adaptor while traveling, the prong broke off! Kept it with me the whole trip so I could return it if the company would accept it since I ordered it well in advance of my trip. It was the skinny round prongs...the least stable...so if you are going to use it for a different adaptor it might be more sturdy. However, the company wrote me immediately following this review and offered to either replace it or provide a refund. That is excellent customer service and commitment to a good product, so I actually would recommend them.

Had to get some last minute supplies for a trip to Europe from NYC. Ordered this and it came on time (pretty quick). This product is easy to use and also includes a USB slot to make my charging life easier for things like a smartphone. It even came with basic instructions. Even without instructions I was able to figure out the proper slots to use. I like that it's compact and has different types of plugs.

I bought one of these for a trip to Europe. We used it in Greece and Ireland (2 different plug types) without any problems. I really liked how I could plug my cell phone cord into it so I didn't have to carry around the plug for the cell phone. My husband has also taken this to the Republic of Georgia. He had no problems there either.

We currently have guests from Russia visiting us, and they brought their hair dryer with them but no adapter. We were able to plug this in a standard US outlet so they could use their hair dryer (even though I offered them my own). I ordered another one of these too give them when they go on the next leg of their vacation.

This thing is great! I am from.America, and I bought this converter for a trip to Spain and France. It was perfect- small, one simple piece (no parts to loose accidentally) and with extra usb ports and one full plug! I was able to fast charge my phone with it's actual charger plugged in, as well as hook up a friend's phone and portable charger. Worked superbly, and when i forgot it on one of the outtings, i didn't really like the different one a friend had bought at Target- neither did they.

Initially I rated this as 1 star as I thought that I needed to have angled prongs for Thailand, although I did not end up needing them since all places we stayed at had US prongs, and now I read that the angled prong adapter is never needed in Thailand. I also could not get it to work in UAE because I did not realize that I had to retract the third prong by hand in addition to using the knob, must have been tired. In summary, I had no reason to be unhappy with this product, it does the job.

A good all-in-one charger

I received my NEWVANGA Travel adapter in anticipation of a trip overseas. I haven't gotten a chance to try it outside of the US yet, but I have tried it around my house. I've been charging my iPhone and iPad off of it at the same time and it's held up well. It doesn't get too hot while charging and the USB ports area nice added touch so that you can charge more devices off it at one time.

The adapters on the back of the unit seem pretty solid. I'll get a chance to give them a whirl once I take my trip, but so far, the US prongs work well. I'll continue to use this adapter at home even when I'm not travelling as a good power adapter to charge my devices.

Two USB ports a super bonus!

Bought for a trip to Ireland from the US. Worked great. Having the two USB ports on the side was a great benefit. My wife and I were able to plug in our phones and then use the main port for charging the laptop or camera batteries.

Doesn't down-regulate voltage but that is clearly spelled out on the vendor page. Nearly all modern manufacturers of electronic equipment are completely voltage agnostic so that didn't matter to me. Obviously if you are using a motor induction type of appliance and expecting this to work on higher voltage systems, you've been warned!

This unit is not too large so it fits in carry-on or backpack very easily. I like how I can use this for other travelling abroad as well. You just push out the correct plug part that is needed in the other country. This unit worked pretty well most of the time. The only trouble was when I would plug in the computer cord a few times the unit would sag and I was worried it would unplug. I also really liked the options of USB ports on there to plug in our phones the same time as the computers. It did everything we needed it to do.
