These pillowcases have an earthy, minimalist look. Elegant. No, they are not the softest cases, but that's to be expected from stonewashed cotton. They wrinkle lightly, which is also to be expected from the stonewashed cotton. The slight wrinkling gives the pillowcases a textured appearance, not a cheap one. I expect them to soften nicely after several washes. I also expect these pillowcases will last for a good, long time - something rare these days of too many low-quality fabrics. I recommend!

I have recently purchased these in King and Queen size for pillows on my bed. I prefer many pillow options when I sleep. The dark grey stone wash have become my all-time favorite cases. I find the softness just right and I don't sweat as much thankfully. I wish the darkgrey stone wash came in fitted and flat sheets as well. I ordered what I thought would be the same fabric and was not as pleased. The bed will be perfect if and when they become an option as sheet sets in the same fabric/texture.
