She is a high school early college dean and has been an educator in many different capacities: case manager for expecting and parenting students, special educator, English teacher, special education coordinator, and community school manager. In addition to education, Latisha is a licensed clinical social worker. She enjoys long walks in the park. :-)

I read this and through the eyes of the authors I thought about my loved ones, and the role that we all play in their lives. Sometimes life isn't about all of the chaos in the world. Life can boil down to having one reliable place. Imagine when the one safe place that a child has, is not safe anymore? A predator can steal a child's innocence. Leaving that child with nowhere to feel safe. Protect our children and keep them safe from predators. Provide them with love, support, and protection. Reading this helped me with seeing some possible 'why's" behind certain actions. Good read
