I have mixed feelings about this sequel. I liked it, because I love the trio of "old people" and enjoyed seeing some new familiar faces. I liked the character and story development. I liked how what I expected to happen in the end at the beginning didn't happen and turned into something else.

I did not, however, enjoy a lot of the jokes that felt forced. "Neighbors" was hilarious and did so well because the jokes felt natural and organic, but too many of the jokes here felt random and sprung on that it wasn't hilarious and fell short a lot in the comical department.

Although your children may like Seth Rogan, you will (believe me) feel embarrassed if you take them to see this at the movie theaters. Obviously my high school son liked it well enough to download it. It is very funny, but with all Seth Rogan movies, a little too much emphasis on drugs for my taste.

If you are too busy to explain the birds and the bees to your kid, let them watch this movie.
It's trash. I didn't know it until after my son watched it.
So much for good parent day, but I cannot be the monitor lizard I once was.

This movie is a fitting second installment in the "Neighbors" series. As with most sequels, this one is a bit lackluster when compared to it's excellent first showing. The language is rough, which deters some from the movie. Even with all that, I still found myself laughing along with some of the antics.

This was really awful. I love the casting, but there were some huge missing opportunities. I fast forwarded through tragic amount of this movie because I was too embarrassed for the actors. The only redeeming quality is the “woman power” theme and that’s why I gave it 2 stars.

Daughter who loves the first one made me watch this. It was actually hilarious, and we laughed our heads off. It has a little bit of everything in the plot - parenting, marriage, real estate, dealing with your neighbors, growing up, clowns, weed, problem solving, collaboration, capitalism and ingenuity. Nope no Oscar material here, but good for a funny couple of hours.

This movie can stand alone but it's definitely as funny as the first one.
