I've only watched the 1st season so far, but I've enjoyed it. Like the other reviewer said, a little 90s, a little corny, but if you are just looking for an afternoon of sitting on the couch watching something not too overwhelming that has positive message and endings, it's a good pick.

A little corny because of the time, but that doesn't change the relevance of the stories. Great main characters. A little fun thrown in to balance the really serious problems the teenagers are dealing with. Don't miss it. Has some action too. Pretty great all around.

Leave It to Beaver Meets CSI
There must have been a lot of unpaid actors looking for experience for this to last five seasons. It went steadily downhill after the first wife disappeared from the scene. Became more schmaltzy when the lady foreman disappeared. The innocence that came across didn't jibe with all the violent crimes and mental problems talked about. However, all the actors were smilingly pleasant. Recommend this series as a gentle "Introduction to the World 101" for those who have been sheltered all their lives. Three stars for the positive outlook on life.

A little corny...a lot hopeful and uplifting
It's a modern day Walton's mountain meets Miami Vice meets Castle. It definitely grows on you.
