Based on the never ending conflict between young black men and the cops

New Jersey Drive is a story about a group of young black males led by Sharron Corley and Gabriel Casseus and the police. The guys like hanging out, drinking and stealing cars. The cops consider them the enemy and criminals and sought to humiliate them whenever they met. The group of friends suffer the consequences from losing people to being sent to jail and more. The film focuses upon what the two main characters learn from their experience. It’s obviously a fictional story but it’s based upon the reality for too many African Americans living in America.

Everytime I watch this movie it's good. Each time I watch this movie I'm older. So each time I watch this movie, I have a different experience.

Great story. I grew up in Houston Texas in the late 80s and 90s and police brutality was a regular thing in my youth. Seeing this movie shed a little light on the past. Great movie for me. Kids with too much time on their hands that end up making some bad choices. Great movie if you can allow your self to have another prospective and see things from another point of view.
