Tina’s little creature is more ET than “profoundly hideous”.

The movie sends a lot of time on Tina with her dancing and lounging around her bedroom so that may be appealing to some… along with the music. We were looking for a good horror movie and this wasn’t one. not too far into it we really didn’t care why she was seeing the creature; if it was real or not; and why if it was injured she was also. Since we were expecting a horror movie putting in a little deformed creature that was benevolent just didn’t do it but it was interesting is I’m generous with the OK.

Creepy, yet interesting take on compulsion and coming of age with a nice Kim Gordon cameo.

Innovative take on a story that's been told. Imagine embodying your compulsions in the form of a "Corsican twin" monster and seeing those compulsions outside of yourself. Add to that a few pop culture references and dropping a few interesting lines from William Blake to set the tone. Also, no one believes you. Until they do, and then try to lie to you about whether or not it is real. Great cinematography and great wardrobe, popping color and a great soundtrack. I really did enjoy this one, and thanks so much for the subtitles! It was awesome seeing Kim Gordon pop up in this to drop the William Blake knowledge on the kids. This could have been so much more. It felt like it ended as soon as it got started. Maybe a bit much on the exposition and background of the protagonist and not enough meat in the conclusion.

Who Got E.T. Stoned
Verified purchase
Little stoner E.T. through the whole movie. Other than that I have no idea what the point was really. Germans trying to do campy creature feature maybe? Either way, since I grew up on this kind of stuff it was entertaining enough.

Make sure it's the right Nightmare
Verified purchase
Most of these reviews, especially the super negative ones, seem to be for Nightmare (2005), where a couple go to bed and wake up finding a video of them committing murders. This is Der Nachtmahr (The Nightmare) (2017), where a teen girl goes to a party and then starts seeing this little monster guy everywhere. Not saying it's the best thing ever, but it seems like Nightmare 2005 is worse, at least from the reviews.

Creepy, weird flick. Definitely worth watching.

As another reviewer pointed out, many of the low reviews on this movie are actually from a different flick. Der Nachtmahr is a pretty entertaining, creepy, weird movie.
