Tiffany Haddish is sooo funny, so I decided to rent this movie, even though Tyler Perry is a producer. Are there funny parts? Yes! But, at what cost? This movie portrays black women as raunchy and sex-driven. Can there be a Tyler Perry movie that doesn't portray women as victims, needy or caricatures? This will not be worth your time or money.

This was funny. I am guessing people aren't used to a black cast Romantic Comedy. Its was silly light hearted and made me laugh. The purpose of a movie is to make you joyful. I think it's a perfect girl's night or date night movie. Nice job Mr Perry.

This movie was not funny. Horrible. Tyler needs to rest a while before putting out more movies. I did not laugh one time during this "suppose to be comedy." Sad. Waste of $5. Glad I did not go to a theater to see this movies. Quite disappointed.

This movie was a real disappointment and I'm someone who is not very picky and am pretty easily entertained. I watch and enjoy most Hallmark and Hallmark Christmas movies, for heaven's sake. lol The heroine in this movie was not likable at all, in fact, she's horrible, because they wrote her to be that way. I could see her being confused in the story and hurting him, maybe once. But no, three times, or more, I lost count and this part in the movie was not written well, at all. I loved the supporting actress, Amber Riley, though they could've made her a little more real, also. She acquiessed way more than a real true friend would have. I liked the barista story of Frank, the man always in love with Danica, but because they let the heroine of this movie keep treating him like a doormat and worse, it actually diminshed his part a lot, you start not feeling sorry for him either. I would've liked Tiffany Haddish's part, had they not completely overdone it with the over-the-top sex and random scenes; the parts of the movie where she was just too loud and not PC, but loved her sister and meant well, those were very funny scenes. The maddening thing is, I feel this could've been a very good movie, but it was not well thought out, in my opinion. I know Tyler Perry has it in him to do way better. Also, Amazon listed the stars wrong in the movie's info; the stars they listed were in a movie called Nobody's Fool, back in 1994, though the two movies didn't seem similar to me.
This dvd is hilarious through and through. In fact i watched it again the next day. It taught me to go after your heart desires to find true love. Any film with Tiffany is going to make you laugh. Definitely recommend.
