Nobody's Ghoul (Dramatized Adaptation): Ordinary Magic, Book 8 Audible Audiobook – Original recording
Police Chief Delaney Reed can handle supernatural disasters. With gods vacationing in her little town of Ordinary, Oregon, and monsters living alongside humans, she’s had plenty of practice.
But trying to handle something so normal, so average, so very ordinary as planning her own wedding to the man she loves? Delaney is totally out of her depth.
When a car falls out of the sky and lands on the beach, Delaney is more than happy to push guest lists and venue dates out of her mind. The car appears empty, but someone has slipped into Ordinary with stolen weapons from the gods. Someone who has the ability to look like any god, monster, or human in town. Someone who might set off a supernatural disaster even Delaney can’t handle.

The story of Supernatural mystery in Ordinary was fun as always. Another link in the chain leading to what promises to be a climate battle at some point in the future. This book stands alone as a story but as with last couple foreshadows a future conflict.
I love the involvement of the characters. Delaney, Mayes, and Jean are all fabulous. But something was missing from this book.
How could you leave us out on a very small limb of a large tree. Now we wait for the next one. So far you have never let us down. I've loved all your books I've read. I thank you for sharing your thoughts and dreams with me. Brenda Emmons in Washougal Washington.

This eighth book in the series begins with Delaney in a panic because she can’t face planning her wedding to her childhood sweetheart Ryder, rushing to the beach where her sisters have witnessed a car fall from the sky. It is the start of a whole series of strange goings-on.
Many of the regular characters appear, including Bertie, the fearsome valkyrie and dreaded organiser of Ordinary’s fundraising/tourist events, and two of my favourites: Crow, the trickster god, and ‘Than’, or Thanatos, the god of death.
The books are a lot of fun and I have enjoyed all of this series hugely. I recommend reading them in order, to appreciate the developing stories and characters.
