The shortage of expletives is welcome after books by other authors. Miranda Smith knows how to tell a story, even one with salacious details without actually giving salacious details. I wasn't wholly convinced by this story, the elaborate plot to fake DNA results and the belief that money can afford this despite it having to pass through several professionals didn't wash with me, neither did the ending I'm afraid. The motive given by the woman for doing what she did was not plausible.

Intriguing plot with those red herrings I love so much but even I couldn't imagine how it would pan out there has to be a fine line with such books between keeping the reader interested or dragging out the plot so that the storyline becomes boring and Miranda nailed it completely interesting well thought out book
