I feel like I am too friends with each person. I care about these ladies. Just completed book#2. I have started book #3. Each book gets better. Two more books to go.. I hate to leave this group of women.. I highly recommend these books to you as a reader.

The ladies from Ten Beach Road are back! We first met these “extreme home makeover” ladies in Ten Beach Road.

Nicole still has money problems and Maddie’s marriage may or may not be in trouble, she isn’t quite sure . Avery is still trying to reestablish herself as a serious architect while she is forced to work with Deirdre, the mother who abandoned her at a young age.

Kyra is back, Maddie’s young daughter who is a single Mom due to a celebrity affair that was in all the tabloids!

Before I go any further if you have not read Ten Beach Road you do not need to in order to enjoy this novel. Although I would recommend it as a good beach read.

These ladies have a new reality show called “Do-Over” and have been hired to make over a once grand mansion in Miami’s South Beach area. Meet Max (one of my favorite characters) the 90-year-old charming homeowner and ex-vaudeville entertainer. Max has a decades old mystery that needs to be solved.

Nicole, Maddie, Avery and Kyra soon find out reality television is intrusive, has a shooting schedule that is not in their control and is covering more than just the remodel on the house. The producers of the show want to cover Kyra’s celebrity tabloid problems!

I like the parallel, the ladies re-do homes and try to re-do their lives at the same time. This book has a little bit of everything, romance, comedy, mystery, drama and a lot of southern charm!

The setting ,the somewhat quirky characters and all of their drama make this a fun book to read.

This book hooked me. Wendy Wax takes such pains developing each character. I feel I know them personally and can relate to some aspect of each one and I'm ALWAYS a sucker for a beach setting.

I was thrilled to learn that this is the first in the series. I've read all six (including the Christmas novella). I have to admit that by the time I read number six there are certain parts of the story line that are becoming a bit boring, but still I can NOT wait for the next one in 2018!

Once again Wendy Wax delivers a novel that thoroughly entertained me. The ladies of Ten Beach Road are back and trying to make a go of renovating another grand Florida home – this time on the Atlantic coast. They hope to turn the filmed experience into a home-reno show for a cable channel. What they didn’t notice when they signed on for the pilot was the fine print. Every minute will be filmed and the show will be presented as a reality show. Yikes! Couple that aspect with a mystery the homeowner would like to solve and you’ve got the makings of a good story.

There’s drama in each woman’s personal life too. I won’t go into each one but suffice it to say that the drama moved the plot and at the end of the novel there are enough unwrapped stories to make me think there could be another novel in this series. I’m hoping.

If you enjoyed Ten Beach Road I think you’ll like Ocean Beach.

I've been a Wendy Wax fan ever since reading her delightful "Accidental Bestseller" book. Ocean Beach picks up where 10 Beach Road left off. Here we find the women we came to know, each one different from the other and yet thrown together again to fix up yet another manse - this one in Miami. The twist here is that the owner - a character unto himself - lives at the mansion while they renovate around him. The second twist is that this re-do includes two 24/7 TV film crew staff as the women strive to turn this re-do into a television opportunity, because let's face it, they're all broke and need the income - but the TV producer has another agenda. The relationships between mothers and daughters, husband and wives, and of course, budding new romances are explored with Ms. Wax's humor and insight. As with all of her books - it's just fun hanging out with these characters and seeing what they'll get up to next. Thank you, Ms. Wax, for your clever brand of entertainment!

I enjoyed the entire book after reading the first Ten Ocean Beach. The setting is in Florida surrounded by a beach. The way the characters entertained in good/ poor living conditions and how the grew in relationships made me never want to put this book down.

There is never a dull moment and it has many plots of interest. I became part of each character to me that's a sign of a very excellent writer. I read or listened to Ten Ocean Beach and I was THRILLED to find the second book and cannot wait for the next to come out. I had to purchase the Novella can't wait for the entire book in July.

My husband listened to this book on a drive and while his interests are usually different from mine he too enjoyed Ocean Beach. There are many laughing out loud scenes. I don't want to give away the book but if you want a book you can relate and love every character this is for you.

I started with the first book-"Ten Beach Road". I had never read a novel by Wendy Wax before and was looking for a good, easy read for vacation. The first book was fabulous! I love all the characters in it and looked forward to reading the second book in the series-"Ocean Beach." As the story grows, you really feel like you know the characters well and it's so much fun to see them grow and see what's going to follow on the next page, and then the next book! I hope you enjoy this series as much as I did!
