Everything that came out of Thomas’s mouth was a lie. He wasn’t a detective and he was working with Leland to get the money that Gwen and Leland’s father had left to Gwen. Thomas had lied about everything except loving Eden.

No electricity, no phones, no internet, even the water you drink comes from a well, this is life off the grid. Thomas a stranger is found injured and barely clinging to consciousness by Eden. He is taken in by Gwen the owner of the house and guardian to the 5 young women in her care. The house is considered a sanctuary and each woman in the house has their own story that explains in some ways why they act the way that they do. Everyone in this house is broken in some form or fashion even Thomas who is a mystery in himself is broken in more ways than just his ankle. Like the women in the house he is also in need of healing. Thomas sees Eden as someone he wants to get closer to but Eden is not a trusting person of real love that is not in her books Real love is flawed and messy and Thomas is no saint, but what he feels for Eden is as real as what Willis feels for Gwen. Off the Grid flows through each character showing they are just people with many flaws making them weak and strong all in one emotion. This makes them believable, it makes Eden and Thomas believable, it makes life at the Sanctuary believable and it makes reading this story a believable journey worth taking.

This intriguing story draws you in. Everything is not what it appears to be with Thomas when he finds himself at a sanctuary after having an accident and walking to find help. Gwen and the women takes him in and he starts to get to know them. Eden is drawn close to him but when he start asking questions it is evident there is something else going on with him. Gwen is the daughter of a doctor who leaves everything to her after his death upsetting her brother. Things begin to fall in to place when Thomas real reason for being there comes to light. Will the women be safe when Leland comes to get what he thinks is his right and will Thomas's digressions put an end to the relationship that was developing between him and Eden?

The story pulls you in and holds your attention from the first page to the last page. The characters are easy to get to know, engaging and each have their own story. The story has intrigue, mystery and suspense that will keep you turning the pages. A story that will captivate you while you're sitting on your couch, curled up with a warm blanket and enjoying your favorite beverage.

Secrets and Sanctuaries

This book had one of the best kept plots I’ve read in a long time.
All I can say, and will say is this is one of those books that will have you thinking of ways of getting lost in small towns in the middle of nowhere in particular.

This book is definitely worth every minute.

I've read several books written by Stacy-Deanne; she has done a great job at writing a good book; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

A Love That Was Caught Off Guard!!

Thomas and Eden shared a fire and desire for each other that was just too strong to control.. I felt their connection growing as I turned the pages and got lost into their dream world. Thomas's wreck was a blessing in disguise because he met the woman of his dreams. However things shake up and got rocky in this adventure of love

This was an interesting read that kept me intrigued from beginning to end. I found myself pulling for Eden and Thomas. I like how he pursued her and didn’t give up. Can’t wait for the next read from this talented author!
