About the author

The man in the picture is the best storyteller I ever knew – my old dad. He’s no longer with us, but every story I write is for him.
He never wrote down his stories, and now he never will, so I’m doing it for him.
He taught me about justice and honor, and that a man truly is what he DOES, and not just what he SAYS.
Because of him, my stories are filled with western action and adventure, and good men who always try to do what’s right — someone has to, because there will always be those other men doing what’s wrong.
My old dad reckoned the best parts of life to be love and laughter — so if you don’t want to read stories with those two things in them, you’d best choose one by someone else. But if you’re like him and me, I hope you’ll give my westerns a try. And if you enjoy them, I hope you’ll raise a glass and thank him, the best storyteller I ever knew.

I can't tell you much about this book without I give everything away. But I'll bet this one'll fool you good. Just think so 'cause it did me. I liked seeing Mary get justice in the end for the murder of her dear parents. I can tell you that. But I couldn't for the life of me figure out how they was goin' to accomplish it until they done it. Looked pretty hopeless at one point. And Lyle couldn't have done it by himself. He didn't know nothing about racehorses.
I said too much. Dang.
Thank you for a great read could not put it down a
Great read for sure
