Ralph:
Being traded to Dallas was a dream come true. I had everything I wanted, my game had never been better, and my wife was due to have our baby any day now. What could go wrong? Everything.
I was now raising our baby on my own. After hockey practice and games, I didn't have time to sleep, let alone make sure my social media was up to par. I never thought I'd get a second chance at love.
Candace:
When my hotshot brother was drafted in the NHL, he didn't have time to do his social media, so I took over for him. Little did I know it would become my career.
My plate was full with more than 50 NHL players, and I wasn't taking on any new clients. Yet when he showed up on my doorstep with the cutest little girl in the whole world, I couldn't say no.
I was just helping, but it turned into more than that. He's the man I've been waiting for.

I love the hockey world this author has created. Great stories, with real characters. And hot, over the top, alpha hockey players.
Only One Kiss is a spinoff of the This Is series, which is a spinoff of the Something So series. You don’t have to read them all, they can each standalone but they all have characters that crossover.
Candace we first met in her brothers book, This Is Crazy. She was not a character that I really liked much in that book. But her heart was in the right place, and she does eventually redeem herself. Now she is the one looking for her happy ever after.
And she finds it with a single dad and his adorable infant daughter Ariella (Ari).
Ralph was introduced in This is Forever. His former teammate sets him up with the new owner of the Dallas hockey club. A new team, a new home, a new baby on the way, everything is looking great. Until tragedy strikes and he’s left to raise his daughter on his own.
This was a great story. All kinds of feels. Guilt, anger, pain, heartbreak, humor, and love.
They each have their own reasons to avoid getting together. But there is no doubt there is attraction and chemistry between them. Ultimately it’s their mutual love for Ari that brings them closer.
Ralph was such a good dad. So sweet with his daughter. Candace took to Ari like she was her own from the very beginning.
My only disappointment was that this book takes place primarily in the off season. So there was very little hockey included. I missed that.
I love seeing some of the past characters turn up. I’m looking forward to meeting all the new players from this new series.
Dual points of view. No cheating, no cliffhanger. A few bumps along the way before they find that happy ever after.
She has rules don’t date clients but she find herself very attracted to Ralph in more ways then she cares to admit. She offers to help him take care of his daughter until he find a nanny. The sparks are flying. These two have chemistry and yet they both fight it. Both for good reason him because of his past with his wife. She fights it because she wants it all. As these two learn to trust each other with twist and turns they find there way. You can read this book as a stand alone but it does have some charities from her other books . This is book 1 in this series .
Ralph needs to boost his social media presence to get some sponsors, and everybody keeps recommending Candace as a social media manager. When he sees her for the first time, something clicks. When she sees him and his little girl, everything changes for her too. They desperately want to get closer, and they can't stop thinking about each other. But she doesn't date her clients, ever, because it's likely to end badly. But what if Ralph is worth the risk?
The way their lives entwine is so easy, like they've been waiting to find each other. They're perfect together. There's a lot of chemistry here, and it's slow burn so you'll have to wait a while, but it's so worth it.
I love sports romance, and this book really puts the emphasis on romance. Ralph will make you swoon and the three of them will melt you. All it took was one kiss for them, and they all captured my heart.
I loved Ralph and Candace. I loved their connection and how well they fit together, and I even adored the insta-family feel between Candace, Ralph, and his baby girl, Ariella. The relationship between Candace and Ari is even more endearing than her connection to Ralph. It is instant, deep, and so beautiful. I'm a sucker for kids in romance novels, and single dads are my kryptonite.
Ralph is a good man and an amazing father. Carrying around some serious baggage and guilt, he's decided that being a dad and playing hockey are all he needs. He has no desire to date or socialize. But then he meets Candace.
Candace is a social media whiz, handling the accounts of numerous athletes. Though she is fully booked and overextended, she takes pity on Ralph and agrees to help him out. Candace is fun, independent, and strong. Her one hard rule is that she doesn't date her clients. But then she meets Ralph and Ari.
I loved that these two fell for each other based on who they are as people, and not just the physical (though Ralph's obsession with Candace's clothing went from humorous to tiring quickly - you have to read it for yourself).
Overall, this was an enjoyable read that had me laughing out loud and shedding a few tears, and I'm very much looking forward to the next book in this series!

This is the first book in a continuing series, however the book stands alone. There is no cliffhanger.
Candace’s brother is a NHL player and when he first started out he was so bad at doing his social media she took over for him. Several years later she doing social media for 50 hockey players and has a waiting list for clients. She’s generally an all round lovely person who everyone likes, her family adores her, especially her three-year-old niece who has her own room at her aunt’s house so she can lure her family to stay with her when they visit.
Ralph is a NHL player who had to take most of the last season off. His wife died giving birth to their daughter and the first time he tried to get back on the ice after his daughter, Ari, was born he managed to get a concussion that wiped him out for months. Now his daughter is a few months old and he’s trying to get back to training, he hires a babysitter and his agent tells him he needs to hire Candace because his social media presence is nil and he needs to have a presence if he wants to get sponsorship deals.
When Candace and Ralph meet at a party there is an instant attraction that sets them both immediately on the back foot and they have to try and make sense of their feelings.
I enjoyed this book even if it was a smidge predictable, plus Candace was too perfect. Ralph was wonderfully endearing and had enough faults to make him human and I think we can all empathise with his ability with social media photos. Both Ralph and Candace had wonderful interactions with Ari and I have to say she was the star of the book along with Candace’s niece Zoey.
There were plenty of sex scenes to spice things up, but I did feel the plot was a little lacking in interest and the emotions didn’t feel that deep or real to me. However, it was an entertaining book and I enjoyed reading it. I just don’t know if I’d buy the rest of the series after reading this freebie, but if it was in KU, I probably would.

Far away from New York and the Stone Family, we find ourselves in Dallas where the Oilers have been taken over by the youngest owner in the history of the NHL who is determined to throw out old school and bring together a team of über talented players, one of those being Ralph. He’s a single Dad struggling balancing his professional life with being the best father he can be for his adorable baby daughter Ariella, keeping up with his social media is just one step too far. When he is told he needs to get on that or he will start to lose his sponsorships, he’s introduced to Candace, who he is immediately attracted to, but scars from his past prevent him from doing anything about it to begin with.
You may remember Candace from my man Evan’s book, she’s his sister, who was cruel and disrespectful to Zara as his relationship with her grew, even going so far as to push Evan’s ex into the mix to try and break the pair up. In this story, we meet a very different Candace, all is forgiven for her previous behaviour and she is as close as can be to Zara and the Stone family, and a wonderful aunt to Evan and Zara’s daughter Zoe. Candace has been doing her brother’s social media for years and thanks to his high profile and her own determination and hard work, she’s gained a following and has become the most sought after in her field with a wait list a mile long. But when Candace meets the hot single Dad, whose smouldering blue eyes and beautiful baby daughter captivate her from the moment she meets them, she decides she can squeeze them in for a little help.
I despised Candace after reading, This is Crazy, and couldn’t see how Natasha could redeem her character, but from almost the first page my mind was changed and I not only began to like Candace, I started rooting for her to get her deserved happily ever after, which was perfect by the way.
Ralph is hard and hot headed, with a snappy temper and quick judgements, I wanted to shake him at times, but his unwavering determination to care for his daughter, giving her everything her heart could desire to show her nothing but love, softened me to him. He’s a great father, dealing with so much, along with a gruelling schedule as a professional sportsman, made me fall in love with him, even after he makes a huge mistake.
The attraction between the pair sparks from their first meeting, but both hold back until the heat engulfs them and they can’t stay away any longer.
As always, Ms Madison weaves a painfully beautiful love story which will make you laugh, cry and fall in love along with every other emotion in between.
The new team and it’s members are an excellent addition to the established hockey world she has created and I can’t wait for more of the teams stories, along with Candace’s best friend and more appearances from our beloved Stone family.
Once again Ms Madison has hit it straight into the back of the net. Undoubtedly a 5 star, and a 100% sarah_loves_reading_romance recommended read.

When Ralph is told he needs a social media presence, if he is to attract sponsorship. It is Candace Richards who is recommended as the best social media agent, if only she could be persuaded to take him on. Why might she say 'no'?
When gorgeous Ralph and beautiful Candace meet, both are immediately smitten. There is instant chemistry. There is attraction. And Ralph carrying his baby is swoon plus. It is quite obvious that Candace loves children by the way she looks after her niece and comforts Ralph's daughter when she starts to cry. But what is the deciding factor in Candace offering to take on Ralph as a client? What rules are put in place? Why is a kiss the catalysis to their relationship developing? What views will have to change?
Well, I recommend you get this book and find the answers. But be sure to have a few tissues nearby.

It was light, fast paced and easy to read but on the whole it wasn't what I expected it to be.
Candace is a successful woman who will not get involved with anyone who is a client of hers. Until she meets Ralph and his lovely bub, Ari.
This starts out light hearted and enjoyable until Candace gets together with Ralph. But once they actually start a relationship he becomes pretty controlling. Comments about her clothes and what she does... there's a lot of sex, some rough, but he bit her 25 times one night! Really???
The relationship with Candace and Ari...she kind of took over, even though she was trying to help...bit too much! And the break up? The make up? Mmmmm
