This movie touched a place in my heart! As a former member of the military and one who has seen many deployments or assignments that took me away from home for Christmas, this plot was very true to life and well acted! Admittedly, some of the facts were bent a little to make the movie, but nothing worth losing sleep over!
The struggles that military families go through during the time their loved ones are deployed are real and are depicted well in this movie. The pain and constant fear that the families endure is also real and well done by the actors! The way the communities come together for military families is never forgotten or unappreciated and the awakening by Olivia (Tricia Helfer) is well played.
In short, this is a well thought out movie and worth the 92 minutes it takes to watch it!

Bought this for my elderly Dad whose 88 years old and remembers seeing this movie on the Hallmark Channel several years back and loved the story line. Shipped this military Hallmark Christmas movie direct to him after Christmas as a little surprise. He is a 47 year veteran of the National Guard and just loved this storyline!

This is a very different kind of a Christmas story, but one you can watch over and over again. The messages in this movie are strong and there is something for everyone to learn. Sharing all the love with our soldiers who are protecting our country, and their families. Bringing food, toys and clothes on the base was wonderful and once again can really teach all of us the real meaning of Christmas. Letting go of what I want for Christmas and turning our direction to, what can I do for others who are without, this Movie has more real love and soul in it than some of the other Christmas Movies that have No deep meaning of what Christmas really is about. Thank you, Thank You.

This is one of the best Hallmark movies I have seen. Why? Because there was obvious chemistry and more realistic tension. Kisses were much more realistic and believable than most Hallmark movies. I like both main characters.
Hallmark please make more believable movies like this one and add a dash more passion and chemistry.

I almost didn't watch this movie, thinking it wasn't going to be my cup of tea. I'm so glad I did because it ended up being one of my very favorite hallmark Christmas movies from 2016!

The military romances are always so great! The lead actor and actress have great chemistry and I liked that it touched on real life problems and not just fairytale stuff.

Great movie!

I bought this movie after watching it several times on TV. These two main actors were on a short lived TV series called Killer Women which I enjoyed. There was plenty of chemistry between those characters and I wanted to have this movie for my library that starred the same actors. I thought the ending was a bit hurried but overall, this movie was very good.

This movie was over the top in every way: Acting, script, sets, etc. It's so nice to see a Hallmark Christmas movie that honors our military families, is not afraid to include Christ in Christmas, and enlightens us as to the sacrifices that military service members and their families make every day. I really enjoyed it.

Never served in military. Want to try to understand what military life is like at its most basic level? This movie gives you a taste. Plot is interesting. Character relationships develop. Kids play interesting role in various situations. Providing support within the military relationships presented very positively. Watched several times already.
