I used to get this product from Costco, but since COVID has limited in person shopping options, I have opted to try to find this product online. Luckily Amazon had the product, but not in the 5lb tub that Costco uses, but I assumed it would at least be the same product and standard. As I read through reviews to verify, many verified it is the same product, but many received the product expired. Since, there were so many review like this, but written a couple months ago, I assumed the distributor would have fixed this issue. This is not the case!

The product I received was manufactured in April of 2019 and expires in April of 2021. So it still technically has a couple more months of "freshness", but doesn't taste or smell like the costco version. The costco version tasted deep, rich, and chocolatey even when I mixed it with water. This product smells like soured milk and tastes like plastic with a hint of yoohoo.

Will not buy this product from amazon/vendor again. Just get it from Costco.

I don’t know if what I got was the real product! I fond it at Costco for $16 less the package look a like but the one at Costco was a bit smaller ( the same weight amount on both package) the chocolate flavors a little different, the one from Amazon got my stomach problems in the one from Costco doesn’t make my stomach hurts !
The Amazon flavor is very sweet and the one from Costco is less sweet chocolate flavor.
Both packages look a like as far as the locals in the writing & weight, but the size of the bag are totally different.

The fact that they sell it for $16 more then Costco for what I think was no genuine product... wish Amazon had a way to check it , and make sure no one selling us fake products!

Don’t really recommend to buy this from
