About the author

Thanks for visiting my Author page. My name's John and I'm originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. As a writer, I've written for US TV shows that have aired on networks such as A&E, BIO, Spike, National Geographic, and more.
I have two e-books here on Amazon (with more to come) about my passions: traveling and meditation. I’ve been meditating for 13+ years and have traveled to 11 countries, been a tax-paying resident on three continents, and have lived outside the US for four and a half years and counting.
I currently reside in Bangkok, Thailand where I run a freelance writing (www.johnweiler.co) and meditation (www.ordinarydudemeditation.com) business.

1) It is very actionable. You can read it and then start putting into practice what you have learned immediately.
2) It's not all-or-nothing advice. You can succeed by taking what the author has learned and then fitting into your lifestyle.
I'll be honest, habit seemed like kind of an abstract topic, but the book has many examples that makes it relatable. I also appreciate the fact that despite being a "self-help" book, it is actually very down to earth. Reading it feels like having a conversation with your buddy which I found helped motivate me to take action.
What I really enjoyed was all the personal stories interwoven through the chapters, so you're getting actual examples of John putting this in action. Feels highly personal, like he's opening up to you over a beer at the pub. Definitely worth a read!
