I do love the series of "20 Ways to Draw" and will be challenged to make my way through the book. This isn't a bad thing; it's a very good thing. We only learn when pushed to confront our weak spots. These books challenge you to look at ordinary objects in a variety of ways - some very realistic and some very whimsical.
If you are already an "artist" these will probably be too simple, but they can still inspire. I'm a smidge above beginner and mostly self taught. I use these books for practice mainly and I find myself improving. It's a simple way to make art everyday.
I can't wait to draw the shoes. Perhaps I'll be inspired to put a pair on!
