Stay Healthy & Make The Most Of Your Days With Reliable Blood Pressure Measurements!
Why do you need a Manual Blood Pressure Cuff by Paramed?
It is a classic instrument for measuring blood pressure, which will provide the most accurate readings of upper and lower pressure.
It can be used for both individual and professional use. The manual blood pressure cuff is more accurate than the automatic blood pressure monitor, although it requires certain skills to use.
Why choose Professional Manual Blood Pressure Cuff by Paramed?
Manual Blood Pressure Cuff by Paramed is made from quality materials for people who value accuracy. It is widely used in medical institutions, and if there is sufficient operating experience - at home. Please note that there is no stethoscope in this model.

Quality materialsThe pressure gauge of our device is made of high quality zinc alloy. And the velcro fastener perfectly fixes, does not unfasten at the maximum mode of air injection. Therefore, the device will serve you for a long time. |
Comfortable cuffManual Blood Pressure Cuff by Paramed has a comfortable cuff 42 cm long. This means that people of any stature can measure pressure without problems. The cuff is designed for daily use and multiple measurements. |
Standard D-Ring CuffA D-ring cuff is a cuff in which the user passes through one end of the cuff through a metal ring and then attaches it to the arm. Cuff adjustment is easily done using this stainless steel ring. |
Clip for a cuffThe manometer has a special fastening tool so that you can attach it in a place that's comfortable for you. It's convenient for the readout to be at eye level so that you can carefully monitor the pressure gauge. |
How to use a sphygmomanometer correctly
|
|
|
|
---|---|---|---|
Put the cuff on your left arm 2-3 cm (~1 inch) above your elbow. Cuff's tubes should run along the center of your arm. Wrap the cuff around your arm so that you can fit one finger between the cuff and your arm, and attach it with Velcro. |
Put the stethoscope (you will need to obtain one separately) on and place the head on your humeral artery a bit above the elbow joint facing the body where the artery usually runs. You can secure the stethoscope using the cuff. |
Quickly fill the cuff with air until it reaches your typical upper pressure reading with an additional 30 mmHg. Then, stop pumping in air. Start letting air out of the cuff so that the manometer's arrow descends 2-3 marks per second. |
Note the pressure when you first hear your heartbeat. This is the upper, or systolic, pressure number. Note the pressure when the sound stops. This is the lower, or diastolic, pressure number. Use it comfortably, be healthy, and stay safe! |

Like others have said, I had some concerns about accuracy so I decided to calibrate the gauge to check for accuracy so I built a simple calibration stand to measure the pressure applied to the cuff in inches of water and compared that to what the supplied gauge was saying. I've attached the data and you can see the accuracy is about 1% which is outstanding and should put to rest any concerns of accuracy. This solidifies this as a definite buy for any purpose, including professional EMT use... IMHO
----- Original ---
Many years ago I was an EMT and this cuff appears to be as good as any of the ones I used in the field. Time will tell if the stitching will hold but I find it hard to believe there will be problems for personal use. The twin tube design is extremely convenient and even allows the user to take their own BP (and I am 6'2" with long arms).
I am not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about when it comes to pumping up the cuff. It is expected that it will take a few pumps to get the needle to start moving. The thumb bleed screw is typical for these kinds of cuffs and is easy to use an provides excellent control for release of pressure.
As far as accuracy, it appears to be very accurate and compares well to the Omron automatic unit I own.
As far as size, I used it on my arms, 15" (38cm) circumference, and my wife's arms, 10" (25cm), with room to spare on either side of these measurements.
Overall I would highly recommend this cuff for either home use or as a primary or back up cuff for EMT use.

Thank-you !!!!
I had ordered it and a dual tube stethoscope because my old automatic cuff had become wildly inaccurate. When using this new cuff my BP readings came much closer to being in the controlled range. When I was using the automatic cuff they were out of range most of the time. I had a Doctor appointment the next day and took my new manual cuff in to see if it was close to the Doctors office calibrated cuff. I was extremely pleased to see that the diastolic reading was exactly the same as the Doctor's reading. The systolic readings agreed within 1 mm/hg. The cuff goes on my arm easily and the velcro holds it firmly in position. When pumped up to 200mm/hg it is comfortable around my arm and does not pinch me like the one it is replacing.
The Doctor adjusted my BP medications and my BP is back to normal. I am fully confident that I am getting correct readings now which enables me to participate in maintaining my health by having normal blood pressure.
