I am a Scottish writer, now living in Canada, with over thirty novels published in the genre press and over 300 short story credits in thirteen countries. I have had books published with a variety of publishers including Dark Regions Press, DarkFuse and Severed Press, and my work has appeared in a number of professional anthologies and magazines.
I live in Newfoundland with whales, bald eagles and icebergs for company and when I'm not writing I drink beer, play guitar and dream of fortune and glory.

Jeff Brackett is the author of the "Half Past Midnight" tales, the "Amber Payne" series, "Chucklers, Volume 1...", "Pangaea: Exiles", and a variety of other stories and novellas published in magazines and anthologies. After having lived almost his entire life in and around Houston, 2014 presented several life changes that brought him, his wife, and their dogs to Claremore, Oklahoma. There they found a nice little house with a much larger yard, and are all adjusting to the new lifestyle quite well. Jeff has even begun learning to garden.
His writing has won Honorable Mention in the action / adventure category of the "Golden Triangle Unpublished Writer's Contest", first place in the novel category of the "Bay Area Writers League Manuscript Competition", and was a finalist in the science fiction / fantasy / horror category of the "Houston Writer's Conference" manuscript contest.
His proudest achievement, though, is in having fooled his wife into marrying him more than thirty years ago and in helping her to raise three wonderful children. He is now a grandfather five times over.
And his gardening? Well, let's just say he still has a bit to learn in that area.

Were all more or less enjoyable and gave a different type of story each time. I really enjoyed Sauria.
It’s bloody mayhem from story to story. The dinosaurs rule and any man is a fool to think otherwise. Many characters meet their fate and a lucky few survive.
I found all of these enjoyable. Some were quick, bloody fun. And then were those that I wanted to continue. That I would have loved as full length books so I could connect even more with the characters, get more of the horrible, rampaging beasts and more of the atmosphere that had me so excited.
Something I took away from these stories was the new way the dinosaurs were presented. It’s a modern look at how dinosaurs are perceived now. How they might have really looked. It was long believed that they were cold blooded creatures and looked similar to lizards. You get something much different with most of these and I have a new respect for how terrifying they must have been.
I’m not one to play favorites so I won’t list any here. I will say some new authors have found their way to my must read more from list.

Zu empfehlen: "Cult of the Cretaceous" (Hunter Shea), "Norse Sea Hunters" (Brad Harmer-Barnes, mein Favorit), "Operation Severn" (William Meikle, S-Squad rules), "Extinction" (Rich Restucci), "Sauria" (Tim Curran-genial), "Jeremiah's Puzzle" (Allan Baxter) und last but not least "Closure" (Tim Waggoner).
Viel Spaß an der Achterbahnfahrt durch den prähistorischen Dschungel..aber vergeßt die Hungrigen nicht!
