Davis succeeded in infusing a typical teenager's attitude into Jo while giving her the necessity of facing an adult's responsibilities and conflicts. I also enjoyed the emergence of Dean's new attributes and hope to see another volume that explores that area in more depth. I give my admiration and thanks to Mr. Davis for this latest addition to the Extreme Medical Services series.

A bubbly witch a twisted weird family dynamic and Jaz growing into the story as more frequent character but far less of Byrne which was a shame. I hope she comes back at some point. Demons are the flavour of the day which was different but at the same sorts of challenges with plans unravelling. It is a very clever look at the older magic as well as the balance of evil and good. It drew me in. I love the characters and their interplay. I can’t wait to see where it goes from here.
